But trully, there are not so many people who can parry every your light attack. Usually you just need to play smarter, feint more, play less agressive and predictable.
The defensive meta patch is still actively in development. It's been awhile since we had the team talk on the stream about it, but we have been letting them know that the community would like a status update on it. Hopefully, we'll talking more about it soon.
Thanks for the update. i even posted a thread where i had an idea (good from my perspective, bad from others perspective) on the defensive meta topic.
