Every time il encounter someone that plays the defensive meta dance, il just stop fighting and let him kill me to end the match. because you know we have penalty for leaving.
OR UNTILL UBISOFT MAKES IT SO THAT A PARRY RETURNES THE FIGHT TO NEUTRAL. NO GB NO HIT AFTER A PARRY.

Haha, well I'm sure your opponent won't complain about you giving them a free win. I just hope you're part of the Viking or Samurai factions. :P
Seriously though, man up. It's a game and playing defensively is the best tactic at the moment. There are ways to open people up. Attack from just out of range so they try to punish but then counter their attack. (you'll usually recover in time.) Or use a skill like the shield bash, shoulder bash, kick. Faints work too. There are lots of ways to open someone up. The game will be better after the defense meta patch (I sincerely hope!) but until then just stop playing or have a closer look into your character's moveset and try to think of new ways you can use things to confuse people.
and what happens when both players play defensive meta? win with a drow after 20 minutes or round time out? as of now, there are wery few characters that can brake the defensive meta. and none of my characters are those. and yea. it may help the other one if i dont fight, but if more ppl would do this maybe one day theyl understand. IF NOT (most likely not) at least i wont get head akes (forgot how to spell). but no. i will not play with people that do nothing but just wait for parryes. and yes again. i know that the defensive style its the best game style right now. thats why im saying this needs to change. for honor should be a game about fighting and engaging. not about who can do noting more...

I already do that, and I started on the first month.
I don't quit and I don't give up until I'm sure the enemy doesn't want to duel. One, two rounds and I get tired. So I drop the controller and do something else, like read a few pages of a book or get up to drink some coffee, ocasionaly moving the stick to do not be dropped.
Everybody wants to win, but the turtles are absurd. They don't even want to fight, but just win, and this behavior annoys me. I'm here to fight for the win. Fight!
Gemorda you are literally saying let's make a mechanic useless. While I can agree on the removing of GB after parry, to make the fight return to neutral is just plain stupid. It's a risk for no reward whatsoever then, so may as well remove it from the game? You miss the parry it's a free heavy/light for the opponent but land it you don't get anything in return? Can you even parry yourself?
sure. its a litle harsh to return the fight to neutral (give a free light / heavy depending on the character or what ever, or a fast directional trow to every character even. OR BOTH). but 100% i think GB after parry should go... in my oppinion as long as you can gb after the parry, theres no need to play otherwise... and the defensive meta will just grow strongerOriginally Posted by ChampionRuby50g Go to original post
