    Shugoki is god!!!

    As you all know shugoki is a patient class, You need to attack at the right time in order to win, but in 4v4's in completely different!!! Since you can't lock in more then 1 person at a time, let's say dominion, I can use my charged heavy, not to hard to parry, but the problem is his tackle, "demons embrace". There's no warning so if I tackle someone, which is super easy to do, then i do a sh it ton of dmg and not only that but my team can do heavy attacks for free!! And cause they can't do revenge on shugoki tackle move, they are super likely to die, even if they do revenge I can still tackle them 😂 it's so overpowered and a super troll class, I did it all day with my friend yesterday, but, even though it's fun to use, I still rather it being nerfed or make it so there's a warning to the person not locked in at me... not to mention the instant kill if his hp is low...

    Yeah that insta kill when near death is soooooo cheap. I would suggest it gets changed so that the shugoki does the same damage but gets twice the healing if nearly dead. Or maybe 1.5x the healing...

    I made a post a long time ago saying the same thing. Removing the damage done to you from players other than the Shugoki in demons embrace isn't nerfing him, it's making ganking less of an issue and giving you a fighting chance instead of a death sentence.

    But I'm still figuring out why the devs think it's fair to allow a Shugoki to one shot me from full health after either on slip up from me, the Shugoki gets lucky, or I'm been ganked and he comes along outta nowhere.

    And why does he get the only move in the game that gives him more health upon landing it? I understand that if he's already on low health and misses he's one shot too, but the health effects should just be removed from the game.

    I think that while the Shugoki is carrying you, only they should receive damage. I mean, the Shugoki is pretty tall. It's not unreasonable to think that he's lifted you out of reach of his buddies. Instead he just takes the minor amount of friendly fire damage his teammates are hitting him with. You'd probably still take more than enough hits when he throws you on your back afterward though...

    You misunderstood me, I meant to say that the devs should put a warning sign to the person not locked onto shugoki, a good example is, me and my friend are in dominion, there's 1 of them and us two. He targets my friend, but then I tackle him, but he didn't know cause there was no warning; that's what I mean by this thread haha, I think it's fair to instant kill if his hp is low cause in 1v1 it's so easy to dodge, and when he misses you get a free heavy. So it's risky to use, I don't find it fair that when the opponent is on my shoulders my team can do 2-3 free heavy attacks each!!!! Plus he can't use revenge on my tackle either...

    So you think it's fair if I'm showing a far higher level of skill and absolutely wrecked the Shugoki, that I make one slip up and he can one shot me from full health? What planet are you on?

    My suggestion for Demons Embrace is to give it a base DMG of 25 at 100%health and make it so that the DMG increases the lower Shugoki gets up to 50 DMG at 10% health.

    Obviously dodge, but no one is a god that can get it right every single time. So many other factors come into this even if you do dodge it might not be successful. It should not be a one hit if he's low health, he should be able to still heal though.

    ...so if people can't get it right every time, then the same principle applies to Shugoki players.

    So if we compare side by side the probability of Shugoki player not being able to connect with DemE, and and the target player not being able to dodge out, which do you honestly think is absolutely higher.

    I can't even remember when's the last time I've ever been hit by DemE, even when being 1v2d or 1v3d, because anyone who knows Shugokis simply know it's absolutely important to keep the Shugoki in your FOV. The alignment for DemE is so easy to mess up, that some other enemy can hit you with an attack and make you flinch backwards, and that'll make the other Shugoki's DemE miss you.


    If a Shugoki player can land DemE's so often to become a problem -- then that's on the player, not the skill. In other words, if someone can land DemE that often he deserves it. It's literally the game's slowest, most telegraphed attack with most sensitive hit-miss detection.


    Not to mention the 1-shot happens when the Shugoki has lower than 1 HP bar = less than 25 HP left. If he misses then he's insta-dead by just nicking him with an attack. It's a last-ditch gamble that's got the odds stacked against him -- and if somebody still falls for it, then like said, the Shugoki player deserves that win.
