When will you just admit that we paid for a beta version?
This is insane...and you keep feeding us with mictrotransactions like headgear, charms and ****. At the same time you're charging a redicioulus amount for a season 2 (even though the first season was the biggest rip-off in gaming history) when you clearly knew that the game was in such a bad state.
Why not start this fake "operation health" long before releasing crap and a ****ty season 2?
Now when people, loyal CUSTOMERS, have bought it...you remove content.
I don't know about you...but that's real deceit right there.
Even after years of lies, missinformed and removed features, downgraded graphics, unplayable games, poor netcode, 6GB patches and what not...you still earn money and can go on making broken games.
I don't know how you do it...but you got to have some credit for pulling that trough.
Doubt any other market in the world could get away with it.
Guess we are all brainless sheeps that throw our money at you after every new teaser trailer.
Wonder how many preorders Far cry 5 have at this moment, 8 months from release, bet it's enough to create all microtransaction **** that will get release later on.
Maybe put those money on a good Q&A team instead.
Shame on you as a company Ubisoft.
Good God. This game isn't that bad. Yes, it has problems that are being fixed. But, at least they're trying to get issues resolved.
Ubi is one of the few companies out there that actually listens to its player base. No matter what they do; however, someone will be mad and someone will be happy. They can't win either way.
>Hey you need to buff Pulse!
>Dies to Pulse
>Hey you need to nerf Pulse!
>Hey no one plays Glaz buff him!
>Headshot by Glaz
>Nerf Glaz now! OMG!
All I want from Ubi is the following:
- Fix hit detection.
- Fix matchmaking.
- Do a little balancing on guns and operators.
- Knock it off with those ridiculous headgears.
- Increase punishments for TKs.
- Continue to fix bugs that pop up here and there, like they've been doing.
Do that and I'm happy.
BOOM! Close the thread guys, nail on the head.Originally Posted by Raven_Strike7 Go to original post
I been here since day 1, bought GE. First 2 months(!!) was unbelievable..you spent more time in the lobby than actually playing. Servers and matchmaking was so bad. It's been almost 2 years since release and the game have serious problems still...and you guys defend that?
This game is STILL in beta...only it's a paid OPEN BETA.
Stop brown noising
A lot of decisions taken by Ubisoft are based on two things:
-The community requesting them, with justified cause.
-Data analysis (pick rates, win rates etc) so they can make fully informed decisions.
I'm optimistic that the game will be very close to fixed by the start of the next season. Find me a game from a major publisher over the last couple of years that hasn't had a similar situation to most Ubisoft games and I'd happily buy it, but I doubt one exists. The industry as a whole is turning toxic but Siege really stands out as a solid product right now. Furthermore, it's still being supported long after release with more dedication than 99% of titles get post-release.
For a game that you can pick up for £20, the value for money is great.
I find it kind of funny how gamers today think.
Let's say instead of having DLC or season passes or updates, Ubisoft just made a "Complete game" like developers did 20 years ago before online games were a big thing.
Well... You'd get everything Rainbow was released with, and maybe a bug or balance patch, but no new content or updates.
But now, we get new content and updates. And when new content and updates are released, BUGS HAPPEN.
When bugs happen, people say "This game must be in beta"
No, it isn't in beta, the PROBLEM is games that aren't in Beta pretend they are in Beta. There is basically no difference between a game in beta and released now.
A Beta is a phase of a game, where you test out systems and mechanics of a game before release, so that if anything is completely broken you can fix it before the release.
Rainbow Six: Siege was a fully functional game upon release. No game is perfectly balanced, and no game is without bugs.
The game has its issues and Ubisoft does, too. But when it's all said and done, even when it's buggy or laggy or has lame matchmaking, the gameplay is still fun to me. I think It could be better, but it could also be much much worse. And almost every update has gone a step in the right direction. The game now is much better than the game at release. Remember 5-second enemy outside notifications? You could travel the whole map in that time. Remember shield operators insta-dying to c4? Yes there are things that need to be adjusted, but overall, the game is in a good place.
Who's brown nosing? I simply stated facts.Originally Posted by bent_toe Go to original post

Since the patch. I've had none of those issues.
People are whining about Ash. I've had zero problem killing Ash. As an Ash main myself I haven't noticed any significant differences in my gun fights.
I still think hit detection needs work. But, that's not being addressed until the final patch. Otherwise, I haven't had any issues with the patches. I think people just like to b**ch and moan for the sake of b**ching and moaning.
This may be one of the most ignorant comments I have ever read anywhere, and that's saying a great deal. Yeah man, you got it: the thousands of people who complain about this game are complaining just for the hell of it. Are you kidding me? *****ing and moaning for the sake of *****ing and moaning would entail making things up or embellishing relatively menial issues. Sure, there are definitely threads on both this forum and Reddit that fit that bill, but the significant majority are legitimate and accurate gripes. Whether you have been playing the game sine the beta or you just started a couple of months ago, the issues with this game are as clear as day. That's great you have personally had few problems with the game, but to lump the thousands of people who have had [and continue to have] multiple significant problems with the game into a group of supposed whiners and crybabies is just so obtuse.I think people just like to b**ch and moan for the sake of b**ching and moaning.
