    Spartan class??

I would ***z in my pants if the game put a Spartan class, cause Spartans can use the spear or the iconic sword, like in the movie 300

I also think that a Spartan class would be great for the Knights, and I'm a Viking. I like it better than the duelist idea.

He could be the leader/command type class a few people have requested. Something to make him really unique though is the ability to choose his weapon before a fight, and have two movesets. His weapons either a shield and spear or shield and short sword. To balance this the two movesets wouldn't be that diverse, because I imagine a lot of people would get salty about it.
His character model would have to have the iconic red cloak of course.

Tbh a Spartan would probably be way too similar to valk in terms of animations and on the sword moveset side no one wants another shield type hero

Disagree. Spartan fighting style would be completely different, Valk is more of a scout and harasser, not someone to hold the line like a spartan would be doing. With only 3 shield heros I personally don't mind another one, 2 on Vikings and 2 on knights. Couldn't see a Samurai with a shield, so I think 2 for Vikings and Knights is fair.

Well, Spartans were trained to fight in ranks, and while they were strong and stuff, the exeptional strength came from teamwork and trusting the ones on there sides, so i can't really see how would they fit into this game. (but hey they throw a ranged char into a meele brawling game so it means nothin')

Which is why I think he should be the leader/command soldier with some moves and most of his feats focusing on team cohesion. There will have to be new feats thought up to suit the character.
