Hello.

My buddy wants to buy 2 gift games for me and his dad.
He also wants to buy the game for himself.
He went to buy the games, and he said it will only let him buy 1 game, for himself.
We are trying to get the with the discount going on right now.
Can someone help, please?

Hi Dave3d07,

If your buddy is purchasing it digitally through the Uplay Shop, he has to first login with his Uplay account. After purchasing the game, it's then added automatically to his account/Uplay so all he needs to do is start up Uplay and download the game. This is why he's only able to purchase it once with his login as the system knows he already owns it.

If he'd like to purchase it for you both, digital gifting won't work because of the login.

People have been asking since 2013 and you guys STILL havent got a gifting solution?

You lose money on all your games you know that right? Just because of gifting.

If it's specific game titles, he can probably just buy the game elsewhere, then gift the Activation Code/CD Key from that game. People can redeem that code in their own uPlay account.

And, when you have $200-400 in Steam credit (which he usually does, because everyone gifts him $50 Steam cards on Bday, and Xmas, and Anniversariesm, and whatnot), and he wants to buy people the games so we can all game together, and he CANT, because Ubi wont allow it...
Or, he tries to buy 3 games through the UbiStore, and he cant buy 3 copies...

Guess what Ubi? You lost 3 sales on a game.
And, probably more than that, since future games he wont be able to buy either.
And, we all play together.
And, we would like to play:
FarCry 5 (3 lost sales).
GhostRecon Wildlands (3 lost sales).
The Crew 2 (3 lost sales)

So, 9 game sales lost just because you have refused to put in a proper gifting system since 2013?
Ubi and their partners EA are just losing out by not implimenting certain things into their NEEDED TO PLAY game system/store.
