Your Work On Kensei was Lazy As F**k

You guys did the most lazy work i've ever seen on a character. really! help splitter continous into the mixup, do you guys know how easy it is to parry that and the side light. you must be joking right? I think you should take a better look at kensei. AND I KNOW THAT YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!
i beg u take a better look at kensei please just do a better job.

Although I disagree that their work on him was "lazy", I do agree that a bit more needs to be done in order to make him be in a healthy place.

I think, by his identity, Kensei is meant to the more feint and mixup-intensive of the vanguard classes. He doesn't need a ton of hyper armor or unblockables, but he needs more ways of initiating viable combos and mixups. Because most of his initiators are dashing top lights and feinted top lights, he's fairly predictable.

If it were me, I'd think Kensei needs a unique way to begin his attacks such as delayed heavies (similar to centurion). In this instance, he would be able to play some more mind games with his opponent (which is sort of what people have to do currently, but it would be more effective) but without the pinning and stunning and punches of the Centurion he would be extremely balanced.

You don't buff something by just suddenly turning the dial up to "11". You do it in increments, gather data and feedback, and then increase it slowly.

You wanna actually try counting the number of changes and how long it took before things got fixed for all of the classes in the game, or do you always just run your mouth off without anything to back it up?

you said "you dont buff something by just suddly turning the dial up to 11"
so i just mentioned a few characters that got buffed by simply pumping up all of theire stats.

just go and check the patch notes for valk. she got such an insane overhall. same for lawbringer.

your original statement was simply wrong so i gave you a proper counter argument.

I like the idea of delayed attacks. It might be cool if he could slow down his light or heavy attack animations by holding down the respective attack key. Maybe holding down the key would essentially bring the attack into slo-mo until the key was released. That wouldn't really help him against turtles who spammed ub openers and only blocked, but at least it would make his attacks harder to parry.

Whatever dude. 3 buffs after launch and Kensei is still awful to play compared to many other classes. 3 buffs = 0.

Meanwhile Valkyrie buff=omg , Lawbringer became god tier and Raider top B tier at least especially with guard change speed.
Still gathering data for kensei? Afraid not to "break" him whilst you have warlord, warden or even centurion on the game?
