which mode do you like or dislike and why ?
i used to like every mode. Mostly dominion , duel and elimination.
since patch 1.07 i only stick to duel and brawl . Mostly duel . Sometime i switch to brawl to avoid dueling the same guy.

i thought this could be a good topic.

Why do you prefer a particular mode and why are you not playing one mode in particular ?

That's my reason for not playing too much of dominion, 2+ centruions really ruins dominion.
I personally like Elimination the best, but for some reason its always low activity unless event or order..

Actually, I can find fun in all modes.

As long, as I play vs. AI.

Skirmish however, is the most fun and elimination is often a mixed bag, depending on the bits involved.

Duel, brawl and elimination are basically the same, only with raising player counts and one of them has stats and perks.

Used to be vs Player Dominion, but S2 is cancer, so stopped it mostly.

Now vs AI Elimination. Most of the times all my ally bots lose and I end up 1v3 remaining which is actually pretty fun vs Bots.

Still enjoy Dominion more than any other mode, but since Season 2 having a good game is harder than usual. I always like Objective based modes, rather than just TDM dressed up in various forms, which is all that the other modes are. In Dominion, it's not primarily about killing people over and over, in all the other modes it is. I like having something to do, a goal to achieve, a contribution to make that isn't just relentless killing. Would love some more Objective modes, CTF / Siege / whatever.

I can say that I didn't play Brawl almost at all. So this mode is my least favourite one. I like play all the rest. I think I played Dominion mostly but that changed after S2 but it's not only because of new classes but also because people discovered that it's better to run and kill and take points as a result then the other way around (I don't blame people here but the design of current Dominion).

1v1 = Turtle lords who play reactive.

4v4 = Roma invicta gank squads.


I'd say, my favourite mode, is the one where I need to escort the payload.
