Sawmills for sure, those things are all over. As for the foundries, not a lot of metal working going on in my neck of the woods, but there are rock quarries and such.

They said there are no outposts anymore, they are replaced by the towns. I would imagine that the fortresses are replaced by bigger things like schools, movie theaters, bunkers and caverns. Keep in mind that Montana is packed full of a large amount of the US's nuclear arsenal in hidden underground bunkers/ports.

Rock quarries! Those work. But small towns as well. Easy to barricade a small town. Although not all small towns have water towers, but I guess for FC5 there will be and that's a plus!

Did they really say every outpost will be a town instead? Some of the liberation zones will be small settlements, sure, there could be some that aren't towns necessarily. In the videos taking out the men at Rye & Sons Aviation gave players the same "liberated" success prompt as clearing Fall's End, but that wasn't a town. There could be locations like sawmills or quarries to free that serve the same purpose without necessarily being "outposts", unless you've a link to an exact quote saying all outposts are towns. I'd be worried if that were the case cause it'd mean there are either very few towns to free or an unbelievable number of towns in such a small section of MT...

Why does there have to be a water tower at every one? There could still be a town to liberate without a water tower, Fall's End in the demo area they've shown just happened to have one, doesn't mean all the settlements will....
