after V1.08.01 when can we expect the promised Kensei buff? | Forums

so he got those so called "quality of live" changes... which dont change anything.

If i look back at the Lawbringer buff, the Valkyrie buff, the Raider buff, they got a whole load of improvements.
And i was expecting something similar for Kensei but all they did was to remove the guaranteed gb on block of his evade attacks wich is something they did for Berserker a loooong time ago.

so id really like to know when there is actually a buff for Kensei

u can never expect it. ubi team is too dumb to balance their roster. instead of that they let there top 5 dominate every battlefield now top 6 and they dont interested at balancing. Their ****ing low playerbase are they who play all this op chars, if they nerf they or buff the rest so that they cant dominate the game will lose some more % of players.

They are still planning on doing more for Kensei, don't worry. This was a temporary fix so that they could see what direction they should buff him in. Making small improvements is Ubisoft's plan, rather than massive overhauls right off the bat. They would rather make pointless changes than to completely break another character. See where I'm going with this?

All of the characters you mentioned had an extremely long period of time of testing and data before they decided to do such large buffs on them. Notice something? All of these characters are very balanced and none of them are particularly broken. (revenge mode is kinda an exception, but many characters are crazy in revenge with vortexes and such).

They may be "looking" into this and "gathering data" but thats the 3rd buff for kensei post-launch and he is still thrash tier. Don't get your hopes up.

I really doubt they'll buff him before the anti turtle patch. My guess is they'll need like 1 - 1.5 months for data gathering after the anti turtle patch comes, and probably like 3-4 weeks to make some actual changes... 2-2.5 months after the anti turtle patch, so it's closer to "never" as for me...
