I enter 1 game and proceed to get raped by a centurion so instead of smashing everything in a one foot radius i decided to leave and low and behold a ban timer. Who ever had this idea wanted to kill for honor that is just a fact.
So now my plan is to only play peace keeper which isnt fun for me or anyone involved and if they leave its a 10 min ban further killing for honor.
Congrats you took a really really really really revolutionary game series and proceeded to kill anything about it. Player base is going to further decline and the game will become more desolate because of this. Well more desolate than it ever was.
In fact although I've really wanted to play this for years and was even a alpha tester i think i am going to sell the game now. It's literally not even worth keeping anymore because anything less than my best is going to equal a loss, and my best isnt even fun to play at all anymore for anyone.
If i had to guess everyone isnt doing anything less in the community anymore. So it went from a game to a chore and ive already got a job. It's sad to see what has happened i really really really wanted to see the series success for many years to come but that is going to happen if ubisoft sells the rights to for honor.

I'm sorry to be the one to say this but this is exactly why we implemented the quit-penalty.

Both of you spent time to queue up, load-out and load into the match. I'm assuming this is 1v1 (or you were fighting the centurion alone at least) and because you were upset you died, you decided to quit. Whether you are getting your butt whooped or you just barely died because of an unlucky move - Dying is not an acceptable reason for quitting. When you queue up you're basically going into a social contract with the other player(s) that you're going to play out this match together. Both of you made this promise to play a match, and you quitting early is essentially you wasting the time of the other player - so a 10minute ban (the length of a average game) seems completely reasonable.

If you have issues with matchmaking, with balance, with new heroes, with whatever - bring it up with us and we'll work to address it. But quitting like that is just harming the other player when your beef is with us - so please at least show some respect to the other player.

I will make this clear > : Quit-penalty does not even help and it's useless. there is no rules in-game will make people abuse spam and cheating (Quit the game) and also dont respect other players.

Go take a leak and the ten minutes are over, or have a small cup of water. However, should you leave your team alone in every second game, I understand your frustration about the ten minutes... but then, you deserve the 10 minutes. By leaving your team, you clearly show, that you do not deserve a team, because they stay, don't they? And now they have to struggle even more, because you left them with a bot. With you, they might have a fighting chance, but you steal that from them.

Except for the fact that its not how long the punishment is, it's the fact that its there at all in a casual game, where it is being pushed ALL because the game crashes... this bs line of oh it ruins the teammates/opponents fun...really? REALLY you can speak for me now and decide what ruins MY fun?

Well let me just inform you the absolute ONLY thing that ruins my fun IS THE GAME CRASHING when someone leaves for ANY reason...why is it soo difficult for people to understand this...are you all liberals who just ignore the truth and continue on with idiotic arguments AFTER being proved wrong???...apparently so

This penalty...lets just step back a sec...and look at it differently...lets say that it was heavy attacks that caused the game to crash...would you punish players for using heavy attacks with a 10 minute "time out"? what if it was emotes that caused the game to crash, would you punish players for using emotes that crashed the game? NO

When Ubi designed this game...they put the option in to QUIT a match at your leisure did they not? So why is the option there at all if it's sooo frowned upon? thats like going to a drug addicted persons house...plopping down his favorite drug on his coffee table...then telling him... if you use those drugs... i'm gonna punish you...lol.

I mean really...I just do not get how ppl cannot understand this...unless they again just intentionally ignore the truth... Did Ubi not set it up where you get the same XP/steel from killing a real player or their replacement bot as long as u started in a pvp match, no matter who u kill a real player or thier bot u get the same rewards...

If Taunts caused the game to shut down, they would eliminate Taunts until they knew a fix. Likely would be put on the back burner over other issues.
If Heavies were causing the game to shut down. Well thats game breaking. That cant be allowed and you would see them scrambling to find a fix a lot faster than they did for the OneHitKill Wardens.

People rage quitting the match forcing everyone in the match to occasionally disconnect causing a major inconvenience to everyone involved? Its an issue that needs to be dealt with, but it did not make the game completely unplayable as Heavies causing the game to crash would. You cant eliminate Heavies like you can taunts or attempt to limit quitters.

Obviously a better solution is to fix the connection issues in the first place. But let's be realistic here, besides an actually good amount of balance updates, what major bug/serer fixes has there been? Not many at all, at least effective ones. Clearly Ubisoft has struggled to find an answer to fix this problem (besides actually having dedicated servers from the start.....) so do you really expect them in the next week? month? YEAR? to find a soultion to these connection issues? I dont.

Id rather a rage quit penalty for people who cant control their emotions and need a break, then to continue having to deal with Ubisoft connection issues as a result of a rage quitter.

I aggree, there should be a rage quit penalty for casual games. And I fully support eliminating the rage quit penalty once they do release a competitive mode. But for now, causal matches are not just casual matches because not everyone is a casual player. Another fault on Ubisoft. But what can we do besides wait it out and deal with it, or quit. I prefer not to quit because I enjoy the game, and id like to enjoy the game to its fullest. A rage quit penalty helps me do that.

And please name one game where there is not an option to quit...That would just be stupid from any game developer to implement lol. Plenty of games have a quit penalty and plenty dont. For Honor now has one.

Lets jump on the hate train.

Sometimes you get into lobby with ****ty host, like i did yesterday.
Play for a while. Then game starts resync, for about 15s. Ok thats normal and it happens from time to time. It ends, we continue to play for about 10s and then resync hit again. This continued in a cycle for almost ten minutes. Normally i would have bailed when second or third resync in a row would hit but then i would get smashed with leaver penalty and wasted ten minutes of my life anyway, so i could make at least something (no matter how small) out of it, so i stay in the purgatory.

I know this is one of the "your mileage may vary" things, but the connectivity and stability problems were getting increasingly worse ever since Season 2 went live. People randomly disconnecting mid-fight, entire lobby crashes, etc. I would say we are closing to pre-launch levels of bad.
I would normally had no issues with leaver penalty, since the 30s is there so i can get out if i join a match in progress when i am 700points down with 2 bots against premade of 4 centurions (and those matches are still pretty common) and can get back in the queue right away instead of wasting my time. But as it is now, technical state of the game simply doesnt allow for leaver penalty.
Its not a band-aid, its putting salt in the wound.

And you forgot that this is a game, dude. And why bash on liberals? They probably are the reason you are able to go and study. Realx, take a deep breath, and remember... this is a game. We don't understand this, because we play a game... we don't live it.
And if I went to a drug addicts house (why would you compare a gamer to a drug addict, is a mystery) I actually would put the drugs on the table, and then i would tell him that I will punish him if he uses it. Because if he can't resist, he is not worth my company... and so is the quitter. He has the option to quit in urgent situations (like your wife is calling you to do the dishes right now), but loosing in a game is normal and not an urgent situation, and so is facing Cents or Shins or whatever.
The punishment of stupid measly ten minutes is here... DEAL WITH IT!!!
And never forget, it's a game.

i have been in that position and worse , yes if the fight is impossible i leave , basically speaking because there is no balance between the cent / shinobis and the rest of the characters . again you load your inabilities onto the players instead of doing somerthing about it ., yesterday it was even worse i faced 3 cheaters and i am not allowed to leave or report them ingame i have to wait till its over and hope they stay long enough to be able to report them . UBIsoft your going down hill its bad enough in the past your games all contained fatal flaws id like this game to be fixed right so i can keep on having fun on it . if people want to leave a fight for whatever reason its their good right and i dont think they should be penalised for it , after all dont forget they are paying for your fat cars and paychecks
