My purpose was to reveal if his sentences were confusing to normal readers or had any grammatical irregularities that may create confusion. We are all @*******s for continuing this conversation.
I legitimately wasn't trying to come off as snide, if I did than I apologize but I sincerely was trying to get clarification. Dr is someone who is here often so he knows the goings on of this game which is how I was confused in the first place. I figured he knew about the change which is why I thought maybe he was talking about the game as a whole, but then I would be making an assumption and he really really hates those.

nothing but the heroes with slow guard change had a huge disadvantage against light spam. Especially with the release of shin and cent both of which have very fast light attacks....so they fixed that

This change really helped raider and Nobushi become more viable options. They aren't complete trash now. Lawbringer got a buff with this as well so I now see no justifiable reason for him to get shove off of a block. I'm interested to see what changes are made in the defensive patch.

With the current state of things Centurion, Lawbro and Kensei are pretty ridiculous, tbh. Raider still suffers from his own moveset, Nobu is a bit more dangerous but still manageable. IMO there should have been some balancing into the movesets that're effectively buffed into overcharge by this alteration. The alteration itself, is fine. But in turn the resulting play is actually less interesting as far as I've seen, when facing classes buffed by it; they're all ones with huge punish game and effectively get even more from simply turtling up in basically any and every situation. I just don't find this change fun, even though it helps cut the spam drastically it actively encourages many players to turtle and do nothing until they get a parry - the exact gameplay problem the game had to begin with.

Let's hope that turtling is buried with the deff meta fix

i wanna come back to the game , but nvidia gifted me wildlands, + tekken 7 + spellforce 3 beta + dirt 4

damn the list is ****ing huge no time for honor

however guard stance normalization is a nice step for a better balance

hopefully by the time i finish with some games the def meta will be fixed and for honor will be way more fun to play

I was curious as to how the devs would handle it, but they did it in the way I was expecting - - the animations lag behind the actual guard switch, which now switches in 6 frames like all other classes.

This, is potentially a problem when somebody is using 0 gaming interface and full realism mode, but I'm not sure if anyone uses that in normal multiplayer games... so..

Thanks once again for a nice QOL change. Kudos to the devs.
Glad you like the changes! (mostly)

I think we did bring this up as a potential issue with normalizing the guard switch speeds, and we'll definitely be working to update the animations so they reflect the actual changes later. We couldn't do this with today's update since I'm sure the animation changes will take time, and we decided it was more important to push out the switch speed changes first rather than wait for however long to put out the neat, ribboned-up package. We do know it's a problem that will need to be fixed sooner or later though!
