Hey SABRETOOTH yes it's been a long time, nice to see your name pop up - did you ever make anything with the FC4 Editor ?
Should be fun times ahead if they give us the MP modes we used to love and the editor has some improvements and new stuff on console such as increased item limit, fixed camera scroll and maybe the snap feature comes back that would go along way and I believe lots from the previous games would return.
Feeling really good about this new game already.
Hi buddah. How's things?
I'm afraid i didn't touch any farcry game after 3. I never seen a future for the editor in the franchise. I felt it was purposely getting nerf to the point people would find no interest in it, and ubi could safely remove it without much of an uproar. I felt very deflated after the few maps I released on number 3 and frustrated at the ridiculous lobby system they imposed. I'm crossing my fingers for this one, but not hyping myself up this time. Time will tell what we get, I guess. Would be great to get back into map making again, as I have missed it.
Ok thanks, I have been doing some PC map making on Far Cry 4 recently with some mods added.Originally Posted by SABRETOOTH1971 Go to original post
You can easily use 3 times as much budget and more so hoping with Far Cry 5 they give a bigger budget on consoles than before, fix the camera scroll issues on console and bring back the Snap Tool which we had in Far Cry 2.
I am actually pumped up for FC5, was lucky enough to play the demo at E3 and an extended demo that had fishing and flying so having hands on I really liked it and can't wait to see what we get in the final package.
Hows things at OnR you guys always had a good crew over there, any of them looking forward to a new Far Cry.
