Should you get a penalty for leaving AI games? | Forums

So i joined a dominion game (player VS AI) to do a order and i notice that the game was very laggy even though everyone was on green bar, after 2 minutes of laggy frustration i then proceeded to check my internet connection on my phone and everything was working fine, so i came to the conclusion it was the games peer to peer connection causing the lag so after dying 4 times to AI because of lag i left and got a penalty. Now yes I shouldn't have left I definitely deserve the penalty, but the question i want to ask is should you get a penalty for leaving AI games especially do to the circumstances that happen 3/5 games?

There shouldn't be leave penalties for PVE matches, it's nonsensical. There shouldn't be penalties PERIOD until they fix their crappy connectivity issues. Whatever genius decided to use P2P should be taken to the roof of the building and thrown off with a rope tied around his n*tsack or her l*bia

I agree here. There shouldn't be penalties for fights vs AI. I mean, you're not leaving your team at a disadvantage because it's still balanced as AI vs AI where you're missing.
The only reason I can think for implementing this would be to prevent you from 'fixing' your stats with win/loss ratio and kill/death ratio, but if you can rack those up against AI then why should anyone care because it's not an accurate representation of how good you are anyway.

I still support the penalty for PvP though. Punish those deserter scrubs! :P
