I wish so much an S2U / Assetto Corsa open world!
Keep in mind that The Crew Is intendet to be a arcade driving/racing game. But from what I´ve heard the handling has improved drastically.

But as it will not be expanded and will be only rework on it then i see this as content wise expansion like the 2 that the first game got. And when this game will be released it will be full of bugs and glitches and the game will never be done where it dont need updating and will run like silk.

It's the era we live in where no company dont release any games that will work like they were meant to on the day of release and some companies can fix there games but Ubisoft isnt one of them.
It's like pay a full retail price for testing a game for a year.
If you feel it's a expansion and not worth it simply don't buy it,at this point in time it's to late for them to scrap it,personally I'm perfectly fine with this we're getting a lot more detail in the world and not only on roads but also off road and in the water and it's honestly still no where near how detailed the actual U.S is. If you think this could be a expansion I mean just look at NBA 2k,all it really is is a updated roster of players and better graphics.

As far as bugs go unfortunately no game is released perfect since online consoles were introduced, games are so big and development time is to short to completely iron out every single bug not to mention not even old ps2 and ps1 games were perfect there are plenty of people who can attest to finding bugs in pre online console games, its sad but that's game development for you

Well, I fully agree: Adding just two more specs (air and boat) and a few race tracs and some graphics overhouwl is excactly what we git with the first (in my opinion very good) extension (Wild Run). They really screwed it with the next expansion and it seems like they are looking for fast money again.

At least we seem to get new cars.

Don't get me wrong: I understand they need to earn some mone to pay for continous dvelopment. But it would have been much more interesting if they would develop a few lines of "The Crew" in parallel, e.g. an US version, one in Europe, one in Japan, ... Each could have a distinct spirit and I would gladly pay 30€ for each of them per year for new content and immediate bug fixes...

I have been playing the crew since its beta on Xbox One and up until now I have only read these forums for info as I am on TDUDrivetime, but after seeing the awesome announce for the crew 2 and watching every video available on it I am excited to say the least if not a tad impatient that its not out until next year.

But......I understand everyone has their own opinion and likes but the amount of people I have seen moaning about what's been announced so far is unbelievable,
I have played 1080 hours on the crew 1 and to me the crew 2 looks a massive improvement, I will gladly pay for this work of art they are showing off as it is but knowing that the footage is either well made trailers or pre alpha footage leads me to believe its gonna be even more awesome come release day.

I'd love to know what cars and other vehicles will make release day and how many we'll see and lots of other stuff but we all have to wait.....unfortunately.

Please by all means let your opinions be known but there is no need for so much hate for Ivory Tower as they must know what they're doing or there wouldn't even be a Crew 2.

I have to agree with Shakey here.

What was needed in Crew2, was a new location/map.

The Map has been expanded. The Crew 1 was 1900 Square Miles, and in a gameplay on youtube from ubisoft, they say it's over 2000 Square miles. Thats a HUGE amount when you consider most "Large map'' games, like Skyrim are about 10 Square Miles.

If you don't like what you see, than thats too bad. But i loved the 1st game and i CANNOT wait to use the Boats, as i love boats IRL.

I think the location is fine. Even if they didn't add anything to the map is would still be the largest most diverse map out there. I am excited to see how they rework some of the cities and will enjoy flying over them and seeing them from sea. I have played TC1 for over 2 years and still find new things. I get that it isn't for most people but just cruising along and relaxing and fun.
