    Major disappointment...

Ok so I saw the crew 2 trailer and I feel so disappointed. Will this really be the same map as the crew? It would be hard to believe if I hadn't seen the trailer tbh.
Personally I have over 65 days play on the crew, I've driven down every road many times so I'll be honest, there is zero appeal to me. Why didn't you just fix the crew and add a boat and plane dlc (because that is what it looks like).
Could you imagine the uproar if call of duty's next game had exactly the same maps as their previous game?.....major fail.
The only way I can see this as being viable is if the crew 2 retails at around £30 but I bet it will be £55. If it is at £55 then I feel the game devs really need to justify the price.

It definitely isn't the same map. New York didn't change that much, but Manhattan is pretty different and they added a race track in New Jersey. We've even seen entirely new biomes, and San Francisco looked a lot more detailed. Plus adding boats and planes make up for totally new approaches to the map, which is cool.

Yes very disappointing and for me reason enough not to buy. New game means new map, not a redone map with more details. 4 years of the US is more then enough. I'm moving to Australia soon..... FH3.

The Crew 2 will be a nice experience for newcomers who never/ barely played TC1. For the rest of us...not really.
I happen to love US so I don't really complain. Not a huge fan of boats but I like the planes.
The draw distance of buildings and distant objects is still horrible imo.

Not sure if i'll buy it.

The Map IMO is the ONLY thing they got right in The Crew1. If the New map is improved and more detailed then it sounds good to me. I just hope they go with a live server rather than Peer to Peer crap. The planes and boats on the other hand...I'm kinda expecting them to be a flop like the monster trucks/drag and drift. I fully expect the leader boards to be the same..full of cheats with impossible scores.
The map though...looking forward to it!

You will be dissappointed very soon with it. Trust me. The map is dead. I mean environment and the s i z e. In this game only cars and physics are good, but there's nothing to do there. Free roam starts to be boring after 30 mins of driving. It need the map to be the same as TDU1's map, not less, to be interesting to play. But its size is killing all the game.

they basically gone the same direction has Rockstar and created the same playground with a new gfx engine and added new racing modes and threw in boats and planes

I don't know if adding planes is the best idea. At the Moment I'm really sceptical. How do you steer that planes when your Controller is a Wheel? Do you Progress in the game, even if you don't want to Play planes? Probably not.

its only the same location, the map will be different... which is not necessarily a good thing
some roads were just fine (like the coast from LA to San fran)
