The real idea would be that a rage quitting does make the match crash... and the quit penalty doesn't change anything to this...

Our group tried a few PVP match and we weren't able to finish...

May be it will change slowly player mechanic to quit if the match is lost but I doubt.

Why didn't you bring stability and connectivity patch since DLC?

People walk out of many games. That doesn't cause the game to crash. It causes your team to have less people in it. No other consequences. For Honor is in a niche when it comes to games collapsing because someone leaves early. How you can blame the people rather than the game is beyond me. In any normal game the other players can do whatever the hell they like, it doesn't destroy the game for the remaining 7 people.

Your analogy is nuts by the way One of the things I love on this forum is reading the totally messed up analogies that make no sense.

    TERRIBLE !
I was all for it but now that it's here it just seems worse .

To me it seems like players are quitting more .
Players know they want to quit soon as they get into the game lobby and see the stats and characters people are useing

Hey! This is from another thread in the suggestions area:

Please remove the quit penalty from vs AI matches. Since it doesn't leave your team at a disadvantage there's no reason to implement the penalty.
If the reasoning is that the person could tweak their win/loss and kill/death ratios by quitting then you should prevent win/loss and kill/death ratios being updated with vs AI statistics, since this is not an accurate representation of that player's skill.

My own suggestion would be to implement climbing penalties. Perhaps quitting mid game incurs a larger penalty each time it's done. Starting at 10 minutes and escalating to as much as maybe 2 hours.

RQ penalty should've come together with better MM. RQ penalty is here - MM is still atrocious. Stop putting players with15 min played against rep 30 opponents.
I don't want to justify ragequitting, but i can't judge people for not wanting to play against someone, who is so much better then they are, especially in such a salt-inducing game.

No proper matchmaking, no ranked mode, no ingame balance, no connection stability.. but quit penalty?

I support a quit penalty without grace period, BUT ONLY AFTER you fix all above issues.

I think it is a waste of the devs time and energy. when I get to the point that my frustration turns into enough anger to rage quit a game I turn the game off for a while anyway. I did notice a bot running into a wall today. ive never seen that before. I have no idea if it is related. I hit it he kept running into the wall. I stood where it was the he ran off and joined the fight.

Early Quit Penalty is last straw

I've been a huge fan of Ubisoft and its games through the years but the last few games have left a bad taste in my mouth. Siege ended up being a decent game although no one expected it to, although balancing (go figure, Ubisoft) was always a bit off and any update threw 20 new glitches into the game. The Division was the biggest flop on the PS4 platform to date, and now you're following suit on what could have been an amazing game.

First, you have never really (successfully) addressed connectivity issues nor tried to balance gameplay or lobbies. Anytime anyone leaves the game freezes for 10 seconds. Without that, you have about a 20% chance of being dropped for some other glitch or connection issue. Then there's the gameplay. More times than not you fill games with people that are Rep 7, 10, 20, against Rep 0 Characters, and now you're expecting everyone to sit through these games? Second, why in the every loving f*%# do we have to wait 5-10 minutes to find a game with "HIGH ACTIVITY?" and how hard is it for you to be able to actually put people in game lobbies before the game starts? You know whats just as annoying as someone leaving your game? Having to leave the lobby after every game in order to wait another 5 minutes to find a game since you're too incompetent to add players to a game lobby before the game starts.Third, we finally have gotten used to the balancing (and you did a decent job) before this last update so that the game was enjoyable no matter what class you played. Then you release this update with these two new completely broken characters and then refuse to fix them. They've completely changed the game mechanics of PVE and made revenge irrelevant. Anything that isn't 1v1 is just a constant gank fest.

...But that's not the reason why I'm quitting your games. The fact that you never update anyone on what you will be patching or working on, never actually perform a successful update (with balancing, matching or connection issues), and never actually listen to or reply to feedback from the people who actually play your games, is the reason why. IF YOU ARE GOING TO START PENALIZING PEOPLE FOR LEAVING BROKEN, UNBALANCED, UNEVENLY MATCHED GAMES THAT YOU'VE DECIDED TO IGNORE, THEN THAT IS ON YOU.
I am no fan of people quitting, but there are definitely legitimate reasons for people to quit a game, and until you fix matchmaking and connectivity issues and the massacre of other glitches that you've been turning a blind eye to...I simply won't be supporting you anymore. This game can just die like The Division did for all I care now. I could see penalizing people for ranked matches as you had before in Siege, but what is the point for regular non-ranked matches to have penalties when the main goal is to have fun? No one wants to sit through a game that freezes every few seconds, nor sit through the infamous 15-973 loss in skirmish. Balance the games. P2P connectivity obviously isnt working. Get dedicated servers. Do the OPPOSITE of what you are doing now, seen as every update you release either does nothing or makes game quality worse. Through all

This is the last straw for me and I will never be purchasing a Ubisoft game again, given your consistent record with upkeeping your games. We shouldn't be penallized for your inabilities.

For those of you looking to troll and say "well dont play the game then, or blah blah blah thats what you get online," I will gladly rescend this complaint if Ubisoft wants to reimburse me for what I've spent. Most game makers today are capable of balancing and updating games, which is a standard we've come to expect. Ubisoft simply cannot keep up and we seem to be left with the bill.

    @Pwnsky
Congratulations your comments are the same as I am told
If the matchmarking would be less uneven, I think 90% people would not leave the game.
Since the 2 new character knows of 0/12 against 21/144 she is or honor is like beating her with a spoon against an AK47

Does anyone feel that this gear system is more damaging the game than bringing something to it ? If FH wanted to be a pure skill based game, I don't think the gear system is actually necessary. People will still complain about unfair matchmaking because they are facing experienced player, but that would be like in every other game (Do you remember this desert eagle headshot received by a 12 year old boy from 100m in R6?).

Two big reason of rage quitting are match lost and unfair matchmaking. At least it would bring a simple solution. Why not setting for each mode and option where gear system is off like in duel and brawl ?
