That's super valid! Nostalgia is certainly great in this aspect :POriginally Posted by ISO-77 Go to original post
I prefer newer cars, myself. Technology is always improving, and I like going REAL FAST. I was happy to see the Divo in the game, and I'd love to see more cars like that.
The flip side of that is I don't really like prototypes showing up in the game. Their performance numbers are obviously pulled out of a hat, and in-game they perform unreasonably well. If real prototypes were that great, they'd be out on the track tearing up the time sheets. I can appreciate the desire to "test drive" something unusual, but when those same cars dominate in game, it can look downright silly to see so many one-offs driving around.
Nice list! Specifically like the mentioning of the Ford Taurus SHO.Originally Posted by AUS3010 Go to original post
There are three vehicles in this game that pose as traffic vehicles I'd love to drive:
-Ford Crown Victoria
-Ford Taurus SHO
-Ford Explorer SUV
I don't think I can recall a game where driving these vehicles is possible that isn't an NFS title. The Crew 2 has strengths in its map and most importantly vehicle selection. Forza Horizon series is the only game I can think of that rivals TC2's vehicle collection, so the addition of these unique vehicles would give an edge over the competition that much more. Then it wouldn't just be NFS titles where we could drive former police-issue vehicles. No. We could actually drive them for civilian and racing purposes. They wouldn't just be "cop vehicles" anymore.
Sorry that I'm suggesting further SR vehicles, but this is mostly what I focus on in TC2. The other families are fun, too, but I gravitate more towards SR family more than others.
I believe that 90% of players if he looks at his statistics have played TC2 almost only with 4-wheel vehicles.Originally Posted by LegendOfGta Go to original post
I hope that if there will ever be a TC3, the developers will focus only on cars, leaving out planes / boats and various ******** that, let's face it, are curious at the beginning of the game and are only used to make our upgrades.
It was a nice concept, but it looks better on paper than implementation. Devs did what they wanted to do. Now they can add the best of TC and the best of TC2 into one game, aka, TC3. You can choose which PATH you want: ILLEGAL or LEGAL. Choosing ILLEGAL throws you into a TC1 design, with cops, smuggling, and street racing being illegal and untamed. Choosing LEGAL gives you TC2 with all the benefits of MOTORNATION. Police will ignore your actions unless you hit their vehicles. No smuggling, no running from police. Just legal, sanctioned race events for money and popularity.
