I think if you feel you are up to the challenge and want to give it a try, you should. The campaign is worth it in my opinion but expect to do it solo. There are so few players left, trying to match make at lower levels is virtually impossible.

As for the end game, try it but your stiffest competition is not just the players but the broken game mechanics, unbalanced gear sets and the lag/latency issues. It is impossible to compete when you are not seeing things until seconds after they actually happen. You CANNOT avoid death when you are shooting at an opponent running up the road towards you when in reality he has already run around your cover and emptied a full magazine into the back of your head.

I am not trying to belittle you in anyway but I have thousands of hours into this game already and lag and latency issues make me and many of my friends look like noobs the entire time.

There are no rules in the DZ, you enter through checkpoints that are regularly camped by four or more players who put turrets outside the door, spam incendiary grenades onto the floor beside them then stand in a healing station with shotguns aimed at the door.

As you walk through the entrance you are set on fire so you are unable to shoot, use skills etc. Immediately the fire turret begins draining your health whilst four people with the most powerful weapons in the game focus fire you. If you do manage to escape that and return fire you are one against four and if you don't have enough DPS to down and kill a player before he is instantly revived with recovery link, each of those four players is healed to full health and overheal every 2-4 seconds. And according to the game developers this is exactly what they wanted and everything is working as intended.

But by all means try it out and post back up with your experience.

Sorry to say, but if you want real PvP, For Honor is the place to go. If you want chicken dance and griefing and depression because of abismal drop rates and because of changes every update that makes all your hard earned stuff useless, welcome to the Division.
Since I uninstalled, I am looking aaround the forums to see any improvement. None so far.

If he isn't good at PvP he will have a miserable time in the DZ, Survival (PvP) and Last Stand.

The campaign was the best part of the game and frankly it should have just been left at that. Wasted potential perhaps, but everyone's experience up to that point was fantastic and would have left everyone clamouring for The Division 2.

The end game and Massive's abysmal handling of the DZ has lost Ubisoft a customer for life in me. I will NEVER buy another Ubisoft title and before The Division I would most certainly have bought Wildlands, Watchdogs 2 and the next FarCry title. Ubisoft have most definitely lost my custom for at least three other games because of Massive's handling of this one.
Yeah well I don't think all games should cater towards casuals but hey that's just my opinion. Thing is the games cheap now and will still get his monies worth from 1-30 if nothing else.

nairda2k9 is actually on point with this one, while you can definitely sense some salt, being disappointed in the endgame PvP mechanics isn't any indicator of providing false information I'm afraid. And simply pointing out that someone's salty does little to support an argument, in fact this is called "Ad hominem" (Attacking someone's character instead of arguing the point) and it's a really popular way of arguing off-point when you can't come up with anything to counter the opposition.

The eng-game pvp in the Darkzone is in fact unbalanced (Otherwise it wouldn't still be going through balancing patches over a year after it was released). The server latency is still an issue, it was never ever resolved and for some reason the network programming allows for those with poor connections (High ping) to have an advantage over their opponents with good connections. Of course this is all overlooking the fact that this game was built with a "Client Trusted Network Model" which means ~Your PC tells the server what you're doing~ and the server says "Ok". The last online game that used this network model was the original Unreal Tournament and there's a reason why this model is obsolete in PC games.

The state of the game? Well by comparison to other games that are at the year mark...it's dead. "Dead" is a relative term in the gaming industry and I say this with all confidence, the game is dead. This was the most anticipated, the most sought after, the most anxiously awaited game in at least 5 years and it flopped so hard that 70% of the playerbase left. Below is linked a steam player chart showing that COD Black Ops currently has a higher playerbase than The Division. Even though I can't stand the COD franchise...you'd get more out of that game right now than Tom Clancy's The Disappointment.

Ok if you want me to go in depth into his comments so be it.

    1. Yeah there maybe some unbalanced gearsets but there are alot of viable gearsets and you can succeed with all of them if you are a half decent player, so blaming gear on getting your *** handed to you is a cop out.

    2. Lag is an issue at times but no game is lag free, some times the game performs better than others but again to blame lag for all your short falls is a cop out.

    3. He cries about check point campers but he forgets to mention that rogues are clearly identified outside of the checkpoint so if you go out there well you know what you've let yourself in for. I get it he wants to be a hero rogue hunter but when he gets smacked about he blames the game for allowing it. Oh and he also forgets to mention that there's 20 other checkpoints you can go out of plus if you die you lose no xp or funds, so who cares.

    4. Skills not work, yes it's annoying but it's not game breaking.

And whilst yeah the game doesn't have as many active players as it should there's still plenty of people to MM with in all activities once you reach 30.

    1. If that's the case, then you and the rest of the PvP try hards might want to drop your boringly repetitive comments about seeker builds being OP. There are at minimum half a dozen counters for seekers if you are a half decent player, no.1 of which is rolling crit hit chance off your mask and replacing it with EDR. Blaming a 'monkey skill' for you getting your *** handed to you in Last Stand because you don't understand how to make a build is a cop out.

    2. Lag is an issue at all times unless you only play with people from your own region and even then it is not guaranteed. Some days it is worse than others but unless you are playing alone in your own server it is never good. When lag is so severe that you are trying to hook your gear onto the rope at an extraction and your team mates tell you the chopper left 20 seconds ago, only a fool would suggest that a half decent player would have no trouble dealing with that delay in PvP. Get a life!

    3. So because it is possible to avoid an issue that makes it acceptable to just ignore it and allow it to continue unabated? Let's just tell women not to take the metro at night because we can't be bothered to combat sexual violence against them. It's a cheap tactic employed by PvP try hards desperate to get their name on the leaderboards and stroke their internet ego. The fact that you defend it says a lot about you.

    4. Skills not working isn't game breaking? Maybe, if you are handling a daily mission on hard. When you are doing an incursion on heroic or a legendary mission, the hardest content in the game, it's a little different. The PvP try hards love to preach to all the 'lesser' players in the game stressing how crucial, communication and team synergy is to success and how this separates the good from the mediocre players. So when a player has a specific and crucial role to play in a mission and is suddenly unable to do so because he is unable to deploy mobile cover or an immunizer at a critical part in the mission ... TWICE ... yes that is game breaking.

As for MM, do a bit of research on queueing times for Last Stand, Survival and missions which don't have daily rewards before you spread disinformation. The steam charts give a very clear indication of the dwindling player base despite Ubisoft's attempts to distort the figures by offering regular free play weekends that introduce new players for 48 hours and affect the monthly statistics.

And what fight is this as I find your comments so full of **** but ok just for you.

    1. I have no problem with seekers there here to stay and yeah their for the unskilled but I guess you guys need to get some kills somehow

    2. I did state that some days are better than others but to blame lag on your performance isn't justified as we all have to deal with it.

    3. Is not an issue as I stated it's easy to avoid unless your down right stupid.

    4. I've done lots of incursions and Legendarys recently had haven't had hardly any issues in completing them, so really see that as a non issue, unless you rely on them to complete them.

Dude you aren't answering the issues at hand, just repeating what you said the first time.

Seekers are an unskilled build but getting free critical hits which require absolutely no aiming for critical areas just a visit to the recalibration station is somehow acceptable? 4v1 requires no skill, nor does checkpoint camping with turrets and support stations and as stated the fact that you can avoid the issue has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that it shouldn't exist in the game in the first place. It is exactly the same argument put forward for seekers. You can counter it but you shouldn't have to.

Minor lag is not an issue and the fact that you are not suffering from it to the same degree as others means you really have no idea what you are talking about. A two second delay in PvP is virtually unplayable. Anything over five is just a joke and for you to discount it as being down to bad player skill is just stupid.

Please post a video of you completing Stolen Signal using nothing but pulse and a heal. I'd be interested to see how you deal with the turrets without using shields and also the room with the wet floor and power surge without an immunizer or mobile cover. Or show us how you handle the final part of Dragon's Nest without an immunizer.

Until then don't try to give the impression that PvE players use skills as a crutch when you know full well that certain skills are required to complete specific content.
