I really wish Ubisoft would have realized what made Black Flag so fun for many people and understood what people were saying when they said "We'd love a spin off of black flag without AC holding it back."
The game still looks fun, but with no land exploration or no single player story and world to explore it's going to have a hard time keeping people around like For Honor/The Division.
A full single player world with a narrative and having area's where you can seamlessly go into mp (like Watch Dogs 2) would have been amazing.
[QUOTE=PortalGrimriper;12711863]Is it to much to add features like this into a pirate game like Black flag did. Look like I have to wait a good 5 yrs for developers to make that step.[/
I haven't seen much about S & B yet but hope it have something different and not just constant ship combat.
Hey there !
I'm sure the teams are already aware about that and I'm sure they will do their very best to create some events, etc... to solve this problem. The game still looks fun, but with no land exploration or no single player story and world to explore it's going to have a hard time keeping people around like For Honor/The Division.![]()

In fact in Black flag, you had very poor physics fo naval combat, or just sailing, in fact close to none as it was like driving a car on the road.Originally Posted by Stiler Go to original post
Having all the physics done for it (not so much as their is their "speed" system which breaks realism to me :/ ) give less place to have the pleasure to have the people physics for example in the Sea dogs series it was intances like you were either in character in land or boarding in on of the bridges of the boat or sailing your ship but you had loading between them cause it's kind of different environment, like different games one after another, and it was not online.
Having both: Ships/sea/wind... mechanics and player/npc/combat/land mechanics at the same time and for everyone online... I don't think it's possible for now saddly, moreover it's online so meant to be played even for low specs players.
Hello everyone! I know a lot of you want a lot of things... Unsuprisingly. Do keep in mind that the Developers have a good year and a half to work on this game.
Furthermore, Land gameplay on a game about ships is a big ask. AC4 had it, but only to keep the familiarity of an Assassins Creed game. With that game, no Multiplayer Naval Gameplay was in, and it might be a bit harder to make a game like Assassins creed, but completely multiplayer, do keep in mind.
And whatever the game may seem to you, it is still in a very early build, and we have yet to see gameplay other then one mode of PVP. We have yet to see the Open world or other modes of PVP, so be patient and I'm sure more details will be released in future.
Have a good day!
