    Tips for playing Warden?

So after prestiging 2 Viking classes to prestige 2 I decided I really want to play one of the Knight classes. I picked Warren because he seems like one of the better characters to play since lawbringer seems kind of slow and focused on interrupts while the Assassin just seems like to skill-based character and I'm just not getting the hang of it. So I tried playing Warden cuz I thought that was the best character to play and low and behold for a supposedly easy tier class to play he surprisingly annoying. He seems to even when it comes to speed attacks swing really slow and he doesn't seem to have anything in his toolbox to really use. Any advice because I've been practicing with him and even in practice he feels really underwhelming

Warden is quite a simple character but one of the best because he has great mix-ups and can switch from offence to defence extremely quickly.

Here is some examples of what I do in a fight. First keep guard up top. He has one of the fastest top light attacks in the game. Now if your opponent matches this stance, then the zone attack is your friend. It's reach is long and is extremely fast.

Second dodge into SB is the mainstay weapon of the warden. Light attack into SB is the other way to open people up.

With light attacks you can hit in one direction and switch to another, making blocking/parrying harder. Alternatively his left and right light attack is a two hit combo which can then go into SB or heavy attack.

SB can be cancelled into a GB, so a mix up could be left light light, SB into right light light, into SB cancel GB into side heavy, or more light light attack.

Warden top heavy is extremely punishing but can be blcoked from a GB. So if you GB either shove them into a wall for top heavy, or from GB swing with a left or right heavy (or go into light attack SB).

The Warden can use his top stance to parry and counterstrike any attack. This deals a large amount of damage, and can then go into another light, SB, SB cancel into GB or heavy attack. A big reason to keep your stance up high.

Lastly the Warden can throw people reasonably far, so ledge/environmental/wall throws are your friend.

    Weakness with the Warden are

Not many moves, so you have to be clever against good opponents.
Miss with zone attack equals free GB to opponent.
SB can be dodged during mid charge (can't cancel at this stage into GB).
Stamina regen is not the fastest.

Hope this helps. There are lots of good Warden Youtuber's out there, so check out what they do and you will be fine. Enjoy
