I don't know if it's just me but kensei's light/side light seems to be too quick for me to block whereas I don't have much problems blocking pks, orochis's lights.
It has become so frustrating that I want to leave if there's an enemy Kensei
Being on console with 30fps doesn't help either.Funny thing is people say that he sucks so is it just me?
And please don't tell me "parry it" when I can't even block it lol
Top light is slightly on the fast side but not the fastest, and side lights are just average.Originally Posted by WastedPunk Go to original post
If anything, when facing the Kensei, the Kensei has a really small frontal profile and very compact motion of attack -- which may limit visual queues than compared to other classes that swing weapons in more obvious manner and proportionately easier to telegraph.
Don't feel bad OP. I've noticed in every fighting game that people tend to have one or two hero's there just weak against for some reason.
Try playing the kensai for a little while. Learnin a toons move list and how they play goes a long way into fighting them. Between that and watching your enemy to see his patterns (like maybe he tends to dodge attack a certain direction more, or after you iniate and attack or when you try to dodge)
You'll have a much better insight into what move they'll do probably next and hence be able to block/parry etc better
After I posted this,I went and played duels for an entire day learning how different heroes have different playstyles. And now samurais have become my favorite to fight because of how easy it is to read their moves I can easily parry everything and make people rage quit.
Thank you both for helping me
Not at all.Originally Posted by WastedPunk Go to original post
Thank YOU for not falling into the "I can't deal with this, so it's OP" trap. So many of these people nowadays... but you basically helped yourself through practice. We did nothing. The credit is all yours.
Yes Kensei's moveset is pretty limited just don't get greedy and try to attack because that guarantees a free side light play defensively and try to parry if not just dodge away and then try.Originally Posted by AKDagriZ Go to original post
Especially considering most assassins use the "dodge then light attack" meta so it's very easy to bait a bad samurai
You sure you know what "beta" means? ROFLOriginally Posted by Take..Five Go to original post
"Beta" here refers to the beta trial. So the trial came before the main game or the alpha, in this case. So he was correct in wjat he said.Originally Posted by kweassa1 Go to original post
