We'll just have to wait and see, i suppose.

As I mentioned, it is something we were looking into and is not a finalized way we are looking to address the defense meta.

The thing is i play Valk aggressively and it works in the first 2 rounds playing with someone most of the time, but people are so desperate in winning
they start to close up and wait for light attacks or something punishable.

so i have to start whiffing attacks(unlock whiffs) or i try to spam the sweep and guardbreak mixup which is no fun at all for both sides.
Also the sweep is punishable with a guardbreak, aswell as all the dash lights and the shield bash.

now the problem is Valk is a real handful on console thought so buffing her in some way would be really unfair

i think the only thing valk really needs on pc is a faster access to her light heavy mixups, so that you are not forced to
get either 2 lights or a shield bash into light (ofcourse not a faster way to get the sweep)
but i gues somethinlike this would not be possible

dont get me wrong i'm not losing alot of matches , but spamming the same thing over and over is so boring
You Simply cannot take a Valkyrie in a duel vs a decent player on PC.

They will parry a lot of your lights and any of the dash attacks you try to do. Left without an opener you are forced to feint heavies or try to get close enough to cancel a heavy into shield bash which is VERY punishable as well.

Not to mention you have to land soo any hits to kill another hero its silly.

    OOS more dangerous?

Also a buff to heroes who can easily get you OOS, keep you there, and already have the strongest punishment in the game A la Centurion.. Romans little baby.

The Valk need a Light / Heavy / Light combo... this would allow much more mindgames (which would be also good for consols cuz you dont change the speed of the attacks or things like that)

or Valk need a shorter recovery time for her gap closer attacks (dash attacks) so the enemy cant get a free GB out of them.

Those are two good ways to make the Valk a little bit more playable in Duels without giving her an OP Buff.

Why are they dragging their feet? They're going to **** up whatever it is they release, so let us test it before it matters!

It's like when everyone is waiting for ranked and you are waiting for that ******* PTR to come alive already.

This! Dunno how u guys feel, but the problem is usually the second light.
I have so much fun with my valk. I love the mixups the connecting in hard and soft feints. But hard turtles are at a special Level more or less unbeatable.

I agree too. Hopefully too many people dont complain and the valk gets nerfed later on.

Also have the devs or community reps ever mentioned seperate balancing for the PC console?

Several times. The short answer was "no."
