So, a lot of the turtle meta, especially when it comes to assassins, consists of constant backdodging. My suggestion to that is quite simple. As long as you're dodging your stamina will not regenerate, people should stop being so defensive if this is implemented but it may also be too harsh, thus another suggestion comes up. SImply decrease the stamina regeneration during dodges, the fact that people can backdodge for days when they're out of stamina and be completly safe is really annoying.
You don't really need to spam dodges non-stop to evade centurion attacks. All you need is one.Originally Posted by Arkhos1988 Go to original post
The suggestion is clearly aimed against at assassins, which up to a point I have to agree. Spamming dodge to keep out of reach is just way too easy without any drawback. It's less of a problem in 4v4, but in duels any assassin class can really just obtain a clear advantage in HP by inflicting more damage, and basically ride out the entire timer if he wants to.
The only reason people aren't doing this more often is because many people have a more or less of a consensus that it's a very lame thing to do, and feels uncomfortable in blatantly choosing it as their method of fighting. It feels really dirty to do it even if you can win by doing so.
But when you meet someone that does this without remorse, with something like a Shinobi.... well, good luck.
That's exactly what I wanted to say by creating this thread. Good to know that someone sees the problem with the current mechanic.Originally Posted by kweassa1 Go to original post
I think it would be a good idea but you'd have to make it so that dodging didn't start a stamina regeneration delay. The delay between using stamina and restoring stamina would keep your stamina levels almost at zero if dodging made it reset. Your opponent would have an easy time keeping you out of stamina.
So if the dodge wont allow stamina to regenerate, at least make stamina pool x3. so basicaly NO CHANGE... Genious ideea.Originally Posted by l8knight347 Go to original post
