    How to fight defensive META?

Hello guys. As I've been playing the game, the type of players started to change into "next level". Many of my initial games I could really land that hit on them (As nobushi) feeling proud that I can start deadly combo that pretty much ended everyone.

Right now, the situation is different. I've learned basic feinting, trying to master hidden stance but there is a group of players who notoriously stand there and do absolutely NOTHING but wait for my attack just to parry it 80% of the time, and it not, they simply block. And while nobushi has range, if she's parried, some classes like warden or Raiders (and many more) can hit me with heavy top when they parry my light attack (and not heavy - logic). They just rince and repeat all the time untill I die. GB of course don't work, feints dont work because the only thing they wait is the real attack - they never get provoked. Kick is too easy for them to dodge.

I'm looking for an advice cuz this type of gameplay annoys me the most (even more than spamming which is extremely deadly for nobushis as her guard change is really slow, or throwing into fire or the pit).

Ps. Literally there were games where warlord lvl 1 kicked my *** big time because he was only parrying all the time and I don't know how to fight someone whose standing idly waiting for me to attack.

You can't. If the other guy is determined to turtle and knows what he's doing its over. Especially with nobushi. Want to beat turtles? Go cent/shinobi.

Patience is what you need. If they turtle, don't cave in but keep your distance. They want you to attack first, but you can wait them out and eventually they will cave.

Other ideas is start attacks a little further, trying to draw them in for and then be ready to attack again. Nobushi is very good at hitting in different angels so try this.

Positional play is always a good one. Hide behind an obstacle and then throw out your zone attack. Also if they like to GB counter GB and hopefully you can ledge throw them or push them into something spikey.

Lastly if the game ends a draw because they did not wish to engage/you struggle to break them down then so be it. Yes it is a waste of time for everyone, but hopefully they will realise this game is beyond dull when no one does anything for a long time.

The most important thing is to get that 1st win, and then sit back. They will have to commit otherwise you win the match (eventually).

I play LB and pretty aggressive, in 4v4 there is very little defense anymore. Maybe duel/brawl ppl turtle but in 4v4 you dont have time to turtle much. With so many cents, defensive is useless honestly.

Yes definitely In duels. Brawls too but not nearly as bad as OP mentioned

I personally don't see much turtling on PS4. It happens sometimes in duels, in team modes, kind of never.

Same for Xbox. Only see it in duel and maybe every few rounds of brawl.

I just bought the game: I'm coming from the alpha and betas so not technically a new player. What I see is that the game has turned into a turtle defense meta and certain characters like my favourite the Kensei are now obsolete.

What's going on? Is this going to be addressed by the devs? In the meantime how do I fight against the turtle meta using a Kensei? His moves are all too slow and too telegraphed to go aggressive anymore and sitting waiting for the match timer to end is not my idea of a fun fighting game.

You don't see it as often because of the difference in FPS. Esentially, it's much harder to turtle in 30 FPS.

I played a couple of weeks ago on a friend's PC... it's hell. You can't land an attack without being parried or simply blocked, and you only see Wardens, Lawbringers, Warlords or (until this last patch) Shinobis... esentially the only characters who can bypass the opponent's defenses.
