So I find it really funny that there's multiple posts about how people automatically quit when they see a centurion or a shinobi. Y'all and rage quitters are the reason why I can't complete a match. And I'll admit I am terrible but I would atleast like play through a match. Literally 7 of 10 matches I play half of the lobby quits and i get forced out.
Surely you must see some problems with the new heroes though?Originally Posted by Killenger75 Go to original post
Cents knock down and tracking and being able to keep this up until you die, a little annoying to say the least.
I do understand you pain and it is the worst when having to be forced out of a game halfway through. But there are definitely undeniable problems with the new heroes and many will not want to play against a lot of them as a result of this. Hopefully it will soon be 'balanced' as much it can and you won't get these 'rage quitters' 😊
If my group joins a game with 3+ cents... "wow" "sorry" and we bail. Even if you win, the game is annoying as hell and usually puts us in a bad mood.Originally Posted by BornConfused7 Go to original post
Sorry about that! The quit-penalty should be activated by Monday so hopefully that will be enough of a deterrent.
As for the popularity of cent/shinobi in 4v4s - we're working on it. Now I know it's not the answer many of you want to hear, but we're trying to walk a fine line between nerfing them for dominion players vs breaking them in 1v1s - we want them to be viable in both, and we need a bit of time to try to get it right.
I would think a stamina nerf would do the trick, or stamina cost increase to unblockables, I personally just feel he shouldn't be able to spam them indefinitely until you're dead.Originally Posted by UbiNoty Go to original post
As LB my spear charge takes 75% of my stamina and it doesn't do much damage and usually gets me a free heavy at best unlesd I ledge someone, after a heavy I have to back off and recover.
No doubt. But I would atleast like to get my experience and a little joy out of the game, you know?Originally Posted by BornConfused7 Go to original post
Well, I don't doubt your experience, but I doubt ubi's networking, and for some reason when someone leaves it wants to disconnect everyone.Originally Posted by Tillo. Go to original post
^^^ this is literally what I'm talking about.Originally Posted by The_B0G_ Go to original post
Quitting at the start isn't rage quitting though, and if you quit at the beginning more people will join the game. We don't quit once we decide to stay for the game, even if we get pounded. We quit because we know the quality of the game will be trash and 90% unblockable spam. It's just not fun.Originally Posted by Killenger75 Go to original post

Exactly what we were hoping to hear. According to Warriors Den there are no even any planned changes yet, they are still only thinking about what to do.. Then they will attempt to do it, and we will wait several more weeks for the patch etc..
Sad thing is I would rather 1 hero to totally suck at 1v1, rather than everyone else hating 4v4 with utter disgust.
Exactly. Sad thing is I'll quit more once the penalty goes live. Currently I'll take the risk that the all cent army isn't a premade and I can out play them. Post patch? Sorry but I'll be leaving in the first 30.Originally Posted by The_B0G_ Go to original post
I expect For Honor to be essentially unplayable once the penalty goes live. Ever match will crash when the host migrates a couple of times in the first 30 seconds of the game.
Understandable. But when the VAST majority of players play dominion so, if you have to break a class for one mode or the other, you should be breaking it for duels.Originally Posted by UbiNoty Go to original post
The real problem here is that the devs are too detached from their game. They think everyone loves duels, they try to make stricter matchmaking rules apparently unaware there's not enough people for the algorithm to run on, they think rage is why people leave games, etc.
