    My Thoughts on Narco Road

Well, I guess I owe some of you an apology. Up until a few days ago I had been telling those of you complaining about NR to give it a chance, that the story premise sounded good, and that's its good to shake things up a bit. After spending a few hours in the DLC I can say I'm not happy, frustrated would be a better word. Racing??!! Also, vehicle handling has changed for the worse in this DLC. I don't know if its me, but trucks/cars do not drive like they do in the main game. I don't know if its because of the speed or what, but its a struggle to drive now. The lag is 10 times worse than the main game. And lastly, it pains me to say this, but the story sucks. So sad. I'm starting Fallen Ghosts now.

NR was poor. Fallen Ghosts is an evolution of the main game but in the right direction.

    Ubisoft owes me a DLC!

Narco Road was a total waste of time both in development and game what were they thinking. Is Ubisoft looking to please everyone? That is a major mistake; give the gamer what he paid for the game for! I gave it a few hours and then quickly deleted it from my hard drive. from where I stand Ubisoft still owes me a DLC that I paid for and did not get as NR was not what I paid my money for!
I am that guy that always purchases the deluxe edition so I get everything and this time I did not!

How many more feel they are owed a DLC after paying for a season pass upfront?

    No, they don't actually.

If you buy the season pass/gold edition before the post launch trailer well is your fault.

Why? Because you buy it before knowing what the season pass actually was.

If you did see the trailer well is your fault again

Why? Because they show what NR was going to be about.

Maybe if they came and told you, "NR is going to be super tactical and realistic, with squad gameplay" yes they would owe you, but because it was your fault they don't.

Im not defending Ubisoft but you need to think before writing something like that lol is childish.

I also bought the season pass, but don't feel Ubi owes me anything. I'll eventually finish NR, but not before I finish Fallen Ghosts. It was definitely a poor effort on Ubi's part. The season pass vids made it look like a pretty good DLC and a departure from the main game, shake it up. With all the lag and changes they made to vehicle handling it didn't work out well for me. But to demand another DLC because you didn't like it isn't reasonable.

So, looking at it from that perspective, what are your thoughts on Ubi selling the season pass with the game just days up to launch and marketing the GRW experience as tactical and realistic, then just days before release and many season pass pre-orders in, releasing the first look at Narco Road that made people question the content?

Narco sucked and Tom Clancy would have never approved it. A very bad joke, at best.

Ubisoft is not the only one that does it, the GOLD edition is something like the GOTY edition with all the dlc's and a lot of companies do it, if not most of them.

On the other hand is still your responsability, if you want to buy it is at your own risk. Just next time don't do it.
