I despise what UBI has done to this Franchise in particular and how watered down it has gone but, reading some of the stuff that people have asked or wish they had in the game, if I was UBI, I would be charging double of what they want for it... if people are this {insert word here}, I would milk them for all they are worth and never look back.
Pretty much what UBI does and why we get the games in the state they are in.
This has been one of my complaints for a while now. I mean...if you're going to price the items in your store that crazily, have the decency to at least make things that we actually would want. -_- But either way the pricing is disgusting. One of the worst business models I have ever seen.
(Also to OP I would also like to note that there are things in the store for around 400 credits or so)
Personally I'm having a much harder time to understand how a company can spend five years (?) to develop a game only to basically kill it less than three months after its release...
If I had spent that much time developing a game I would do everything in my power to keep it going for as long as possible.
Some form of random mission generation beyond the story that works for both solo & coop, should have been a main focus given the open world nature of the game.Originally Posted by GhostAssassinLT Go to original post
So...
I know you don't look at it like this, but what you are asking for is more microtransactions and more ways to spend money.
These microtransactions are basically just skins and not terribly useful in game, and you don't think there is value, and you want microtransactions with more value.
They'll read this as a green light that people want usable conent from microtransactions and want to give them more money. So they will release the next GR game with half the number of weapons and player skins and put those behind microtransactions for you. Then you can be happy about paying more for content you got with the price of the game in GRW.
People will make the argument that whatever we get in microtransactions is bonus to what comes with the base game, but I think we all know that content would be in the game already if the publisher didn't think they could charge people more for the same amount of content.

A random mission generator with perhaps a set of parameters that can be chosen by the player (e.g. type of mission from a list, province, day/night or specific time, etc.). This would increase the longevity of the game IMO/IME especially for us solo players or co-op teams where everyone has already finished the game (or don't want to play the story in co-op, saving that for solo for example). I don't like the current set up of manually resetting the story missions individually. Heck, I would even be happy if they just gave us the ability to reset all of the story missions at once so we could re-play with our existing characters. That would keep me interested a little longer at least.
