Loud Crossbow? | Forums

I just started playing Fallen Ghosts, and I happened to notice that whenever I fire the crossbow, all the enemies react to it like it was a 50-cal shot. Shouldn't the Crossbow be completely silent? I have also noticed that my sync shots sometimes also attract enemy attention. Does anyone know if this is a bug, or am I just missing something?

I assume you are killing them + making sure other enemies are not close enough to see their mate go down.

And you can shoot them awful close to their friends if they're out of line of sight with it IME.

yes the crossbow on ps4 as far as i have tested is broken. you can fire it with no one in sight at the ground and it lures guys right to you every time. Totally useless for stealth at the moment. please fix.

We’ve received some reports from players stating that their crossbow in the Fallen Ghosts DLC is not silenced and will alert NPCs when fired. We have reported this to the development team and issue is currently under investigation.

This is something we've noticed happening for the PS4 - please let us know if anyone is encountering this on another platform.

This post was from THREE MONTHS ago and is still not fixed. I just purchased the DLC a couple weeks ago on PS4 and lets just say ... i'm not happy that i cannot use the weapon that played a large role in me buying the DLC. I only have 1 zone left to play and i haven't gotten to use the crossbow and remain in stealth.
