    iOS Patch Notes thread

Hi all! We will be updating the iOS app regularly, so I wanted to create an official thread where we can post the changes with each release. This will be more of a permanent one-way announcement archive, but please keep posting your hands-on impressions, suggestions, and experiential feedback in the Official Feedback thread.

Version 0.91 is expected to go live this week [UPDATE June 6: It's available now!], and it contains the following changes:

    - Improved Dynamic Difficulty
    - Made initial song difficulty more adaptive
    - Improved electric guitar tones
    - Various bug fixes

This app update is recommended but not required, so if you are playing when this appears, you will not need to quit your session to apply the patch -- but we do suggest you load up the fresh version of the app at the next opportunity.

We'll keep you posted on future updates right here!

Hey all – the iOS edition of Rocksmith just got another update, 0.95, and here’s the improvements on deck for this time:

    - Improved flow and directions for calibration and tuner
    - Improved acoustic calibration on the iPad Pro 9.7-inch
    - Adjusted audio settings on the iPad Pro 9.7-inch, the iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad Mini 1, and the iPad 3rd Generation
    - Newly added songs now marked with a "New" tag in the Shop
    - Various bug fixes

Also, as part of the Rocksmith iOS soft launch, we will be testing lots of different aspects of the app, including pricing of DLC. As such, you might see prices fluctuate over the course of the soft launch period. Regardless of those tests, you will keep your purchases; anything you buy will remain tied to your account. And of course, the core app itself remains free to download and play, and comes with four songs at no additional charge; we are always open to your song and artist suggestions at http://rocksmith.com/requests.

As always, please do let us know your thoughts – what works for you as well as what doesn’t – in our Official Feedback thread. Let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

Howdy all -- we have released a fresh update for the iOS edition of Rocksmith today, and it includes some

    What's New in Version 0.96

    - Streamlined the tuning process
    - Introduced option to display song lyrics
    - Added video tutorials for tuning and calibration
    - Improved player stats page with additional stats
    - Various bug fixes

Just so you know, the addition of lyrics means you'll need to download your existing DLC again. You'll be prompted to do so when you got to play one of the songs you've bought.. All your previous iOS purchases carry forward, of course -- but the new file you download has more content. Let us know if you have any issues; we continue to monitor our Official Feedback thread. Thanks!

Hi all -- today's a big day for the iOS edition of Rocksmith, as we're adding a major compatibility feature we've been working to implement!

    - The app is now compatible with iPhone and iPod touch as well as iPad (still requires iOS 9.0 or later)
    - Various bug fixes

As always, we add new songs to the library every Tuesday, and that includes the free track "Brannan Street Blues" -- but we've also added The Black Keys, Tenacious D, Jace Everett, and Crossfade to the store as well.

Give the app a run on your iPhone and let us know what you think! We're always watching not only the iTunes reviews but also the Official Feedback thread here on our forums. Thanks!
