3 months !!!!
The support team does answer only one thing in 3 months : (in substance) "We are short on hands"
already posted on this forum, with no more answers, and messages deleted.
from first to last version on the game, on fresh install on both windows 7 and windows 10,
from old to last graphics drivers
from MS system disk install to secondary drive
from disabling IGP to move graphic card to another slot
from re-installing to launching whatever Ubishhit in admin mode
NOTHING WORKS
is this game really compatible with PC ?
Mooztk, WOW, you are a very patient man. Now, being said that, it will be extremely hard to help you and/or diagnose your problem without knowing your system specs. You may have given those to the tech support but this forum is more for us members to help each other out than UBI to give you a hand.
Normally, a black screen means that your video card does not support the game but it could very well be something else, others with more experience may be able to know exactly what your problem is but again, giving us your specs will help expedite any sort of help coming your way.
You can also check this site to give you an idea whether your rig can run the game... https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

thank's for the reply.
Yes, i'm really patient, but i have no other choices
it's a gift from a friend, i can't ask for a refund...
my hardware specs are way above what the game needs. all other games runs smoothly .

NvidiaGTi1080FE + IGP intel on 3 fullHD displays (for games->gsync 120hz)
the game is just a black screen, the overlay works. no sounds, nothing.
it's the only game who does this !! by simple deduction, the problem does not come from my computer, otherwise another games would have had this problem...
NvidiaGTi1080FE + IGP intel on 3 fullHD displays (for games->gsync 120hz)
Game will not run with both the Nvidia and the Intel IGP running at the same time. It's been posted here since the closed beta. It will also have issues running with three monitors hooked up at the same time. Again already posted here and resolved for most people. Since all your other games work correctly. The problem is software which GRW is very picky about not only having the correct software installed, but the correct version too.
Here are some of the fixes people did here.

Fix for Black screen/Minimized game issue on nVidia and/or Windows 8I was trying to get help from Ubi support to no avail and fixed it myself. I have Win 8 and a GTX 560 Ti. Here is what you have to do:
1. Do not change the default.cfg file, its of no use.
2. Go into your nVidia control panel and disable your secondary display.
3. Set your resolution to the lowest availible (E.G. mine was 1024x768 yours might differ).
4. Launch game and voila! Game should launch. Now, set the ingame resolution through options and quit game.
5. Set your standard resolution.
NOTE: You always have to disable second monitor on Windows 8 or it will launch on the second monitor, but you can enable it after launching.
Hope it works for all you out there

Then open the ubisoft folder Now go into the ghost recon folder
open default.cfg with notepad
go to this part in the line "Fullscreen TrueGammaCorrection"
Change to "Fullscreen FalseGammaCorrection"
the game should now work. To get fullscreen, go into the video options in game and hit default settings. This should make the game fullscreen and playable!!
I found that disabling the Uplay in-game overlay fixes the issue.
In the Uplay window go to settings and untick "Enable in-game overlay for supported games" before clicking on "Play"

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands PC- Crash at startup/ CTD/ Game not responding/ APPCRASH/ Black screen fix:-
Update your Nvidia and AMD drivers to the latest versions.
Disable antivirus/firewall or add game to the exception list of the antivirus software.
‘Verify Integrity of Game Cache on Steam’ which may fix any errors due to game files corruption or game installation problems.
Disable all recording softwares like Fraps, MSI AfterBurner, D3DGear etc. They may conflict with your DirectX Direct3D settings resulting in a crash. Also Advast Anti virus will cause issues like this.
If your game is crashing while going full screen, try playing in windowed mode.
Black screen issue- Well this issue can be due to lot of reasons. First of all, you should check that the in-game resolution matches the resolution supported by your display device so that there should not be any conflict. If you are using HDMI, try unplugging the HDMI cable from TV and launch the game. Wait a few mins before re-plugging the HDMI cable back into the TV. Also check that the game and screen refresh rate matches each other and set as 60Hz.

Have you taken out the Nvidia card and run the game using the Intel IGP? Or gone in to the BIOS and disabled the IGP there, and then ran the game with just the Nvidia card? Also Have you disconnect all your monitors and try to start the game using only one, and only one GPU installed? Or the Intel IGP.
Have you done this with each monitor one at a time running the game on each one. Once you start the game on one monitor you can then hook up the others while the game is running and windows will just install the drivers for them. That would be the easiest way to setup the game.
hello USASgtNickFury
thank's for your help
results :
1 -no changes. any resolution, fullscreen or windowed, with or without gsync or any refresh rate...
2- the game folder does not contain any default.cfg file
3 - drivers uptodate /tested without AV & firewall /allready checked cache and redownloaded the game thrice // removed recording soft
4 - tested without IGP (disabled in bios) and only on IGP the game refuse to run (IGP not compatible)
the most simple thing i have done is to reinstall a clean windows with only one graphic card , uplay and the game and the necessary libraries and drivers. same result
i have put a reshade. on the black screen i have access to reshade and it's config, no more.
it's not a problem from easy anticheat. other games using it works normally .
OK !!
problem fixed. thank's to steampunks hack team.
the anti denuvo patch on the steam version fixed my problem.
now the game runs perfectly.
no thank's to the support team. they did nothing during these 5 mounths. saying that my computer had a problem ....
Thinking of going down this route myself just to get single player working without worrying about ctd, But that dosn't solve the co-op problem which is why i bought this in the fiirst place.Havn't played any co-op at all as playing online just seems to crash either 1 min - 10 mins always ctd with no errors.I play a ton of games and this one is the only game to give me problems..
Zandaral, you can fix this problem easily.
remove the dbdata.dll from steampunk hack and replace with the original one from steam version, remove the ubi servers disabler and launch the game with steampunk launcher.
uplay will launch and make you online. now you can play with friends...
i have no crashs, only one bug. friends see me online on uplay(but not playing),and from ingame uplay overlay i'm offline. but they can join me if i invite them.
May I ask where you found your crack? I have the same problems as you, but for me it crashes as I start a new campaign. I tried everything possible, but it just doesn't work. Btw, do you have the game on steam or uplay?Originally Posted by Mooztk Go to original post
