    Projected Fix to Support Vehicle Spawn?

    Ubisoft Team,

    Will this be addressed in the next scheduled update?

    I recently called in two helicopters and they both spawned 200 meters away and inside the Unidad Base that contained my target of a "non-detection" mission.

    Also like to add when call in Planes(eg millitary plane from pack in store) once called in is placed in most odd spots for a plane to take off from making it a waste of call >called in area that was clear plane is dropped near trees like why

    The cloud from the smoke grenades when vehicles are dropped could be bigger and last longer. Help with finding them when they drop 400-600m away.

    The whole vehicle drop mechanic is bad since conception. The fact that vehicles spawn out of thin air is enough to consider it a bad joke.

    First they spawned on your head, now they spawn in the next neighborhood, I just can't understand what these developers were thinking.

    Sometimes it crosses my mind that they hired some of the folks from the defunct Pandemic Studios, yes, those that killed the Mercenaries series by making it dumb.

    This game has some dumb mechanics and animations that give me that dejavu feeling of Mercenaries 2 stupidity.

    Personally I think the vehicle spawning should be dropped. I never used it and enjoyed the added search for a proper vehicle to complete my mission. It just feels too much like a cheat to me.

    They should have been parachuted in, and at the designated point like other rebels support.

    They should drive / fly in so that it offers a realistic feel and depending on where you are the incoming vehicle will take longer to arrive. Helicoptors should take longer too as they have to take off from somewhere.

    Except I would guess most player call in those support vehicles because they don't want to spend time to aquire some. Its mostly not for immersion, but to quickly get to the next mission/location/whatever. At least this is my experience in coop. So any long animation or waiting period is conterproductive to its purpose. To me all those rebel options are basically cheats/helpers and do little to add to the immersion anyways. So fixing them should be about making those vehicles summoned close to the player (without killing him) and not making the whole process tiresome. Any improvement on immersion - while probably more of interest to me - should be secondary to the gameplay mechanic they serve.

    I am actually surprised that the player can't place the vehicles like motar strikes or rebel squads instead of going the way of using an allogrithm to determine the spawning point since those are prone to such problem as we see.
