Before the most recent update, the Shinobi and Centurion were getting 2x as many points (renown) as they should have been getting. I am glad this was addressed...
However... Now, it seems, the pendulum swung in the opposite direction. On my Shinobi, I am now gaining .5 the number of location-holding renown as my teammates. If requested of me, I can try to post a video of this, but I think it would be much easier and faster for a dev to log a Shinobi/Centurion and a classic character into a Dominion game and watch the ticks.
Thank you.

This is actually standard for assassin class characters. All assassin characters, and for some odd reason the Valkyrie, only get 1 point every three seconds, while everyone else gets 1 point per second, I'm assuming that the Centurion now also just gets 1 point per second. You're playing shinobi, assassin characters apparently aren't meant to defend/boost zones, so get out there and kill stuff
Ah okay. Gotcha.Originally Posted by ATBallZ88 Go to original post
I still find that as total garbage, though. If I'm making the effort to hold a point (as is the whole intention of Dominion), I should get just as much credit as the heavy armour character with zero kills the whole game and just standing around spamming emotes.
Also, in regards to your comment of "get out there and kill stuff," I quite often have the most kills on my team because I make the effort to hold the point closest to the enemy base. So I'm good on kills. This is only about the renown-per-second issue.
No. Each class has a job to do. If you look at the top left of the moveset page it tells you what earns your class renown. Assassins aren't meant to be holding the points, but run around and kill stuff. They get much more points for killing than the heavies get. Especially 1v1 or outnumbered fights.Originally Posted by Zume_Frostpaw Go to original post
