    The band you actually hear on all of those old records. Check out the documentary if you can find it or want to order it.

    Great documentary, but I think the Wrecking Crew were called in for Pet Sounds only, not the earlier stuff. It was part of what created the rift between Brian and the rest of the band.

    Cool. Or tubular. A lot of options in the genre...

    Maybe The Shadows or The Chantays or Link Wray... but it would be really cool if they went rogue-modern and got something from Elliot Easton's Tiki Gods. That would make my year.
