I'm replaying Farcry 4/3 and it's so annoying to be unable to skip the cutscenes I've seen dozens of times (I die a lot). Hold X to skip! Please guys. Thx, Farcry is awesome.![]()

I never played Primal, but that's good to know! Thanks!
Yeah, if you're replaying a game especially, this option is never a bad one. I have a friend though who will skip cutscenes even on games he's never played before, which is very strange to me, but he says he doesn't care about games' stories at all and never pays attention anyways. I lose motivation to play a game when I have no clue why I'm doing what I'm doing or what the context of the scenario is. On a 2nd playthrough I"m aware so I'll sometimes skip the cutscenes, but never on the first time...
I'd have the option in the menu to skip cutscenes, but I think it should be greyed out until a new game is started. AC3 had a 20 or 25 minutes of credits that could not be skipped before the game could be completed. It was okay once but every replay was too much.
in some games the cut-scenes are used to mask loading so it's understandable then to not be able to skip but ONLY then...
Good idea.
And while we're at it, in Far Cry 4 there were no less than 7 tedious splash screens you had to endure every time you started up the game. Alllow us to mouse-click through them as was done in Ghost Recon Wildlands.
That's true but then consoles (while not having this option ) avoid all the problems that affect pc'sbut the advice is still handy if the OP or anyone else here is on PC and wants to skip them.
however these problems seem to be becoming less & less, seeing as how now we have to install every game rather than just popping in a disc & firing it up now. That to me is one of the most annoying things this gen, that even when we have the disc we still have to install it for like an hour... SO frustrating. 360 generation was 100x better...
