But are they actually better? You just made a thread the other day that you are going to stop playing for awhile. Clearly they arent making enough of an improvement to hold onto 90% of its highest player count on steam or a die hard fan such as yourself. Just because they are making progress it doesnt mean this acceptable. It doesnt matter that they are improving if its at turtle speed and incremental.Originally Posted by CoyoteXStarrk Go to original post
You guys seem to be missing how things like this work.
The cost to fix it would have to exceed the entire profit potential of the project when compared to the future earnings of the game and what it cost to make. When companies set out with movies, games, albums etc etc they have a set margin in mind.
You are trying to say these fixes would need to exceed the margin set by a Triple-A studio that started off with a relatively small team and a small budget and compare that to the money they made and the money that Ubisoft is willing to wager they can make in the future?
This game is FAR from dead from a support standpoint and you would be downright foolish to think otherwise. Especially when you consider the absolute MESS that Siege was in the beginning and what they were able to turn it into now which is their biggest online multiplayer money maker if I am not mistaken.
We are tired of WILL. We are tired of GOING TO. We heard it over and over. They released Season 2 with OP hero at what? 1500?, 5000 to open?
People who did not buy them started rage quitting.
Buy them and you can compete! Do not buy them and get stomped, don't buy them get a 10 min penalty for quitting because it's ********. Extortion at its finest.
They made their money on initial sales, it's over. It's done. It's as good as it gets because the money has dried up. Thanks for playing.
Alright fanboys, your turn. Have at it.
Oh man, I think you are just trying to convince yourself because copy/pasting all the bs the devs have said won't change the fact that it is not real. The distance between what they say and what is actually going on is huge.
Otherwise, nobody would be complaining, there wouldn't be countless threads on these forums about it, pages and pages on google and youtube, reviews! I pre ordered the game, I let my hype take over my intelligence, I should have waited, read or watch a couple of reviews or read the forums not allowing bugisoft to steal 60 bucks off me. If none of those satisfy you, then For Honor's current playerbase is proof enough.
Yeah and the fixes have to be a net loss if they arent doing them. If it was going to make them money then they would do it in a heartbeat. They are business and they want money, they arent going to do something that makes them lose money and they will do the things that make them money, its really that simple.Originally Posted by CoyoteXStarrk Go to original post
I have to say I never thought I could be this dissapointed with Ubisoft but I think like you, I swore to never buy another Ubisoft game after this game. Its seem that the harder you try to like and play the game, the harder the game tries to stop you from playing it, be it conection issues, region lock or any other of the 100 problems this game has.Originally Posted by Danioku Go to original post
Antonio, don't quote the sad troll. I heard PS4 got hid of him, maybe we can do the same in here.Originally Posted by Antonioj26 Go to original post

After the Nightmares of Battlefield 4, Simcity, Andromeda, Siege and other various wildly disappointing launches this is pretty much on track as far as I am concerned.
Not saying that its okay to releases busted game, but once you do there is no going back so you have to adjust your standards. By those ridiculously low standards For Honor is right on track in my opinion. Miracles can't be worked in gaming. It takes time and if the game is worth it I am willing to give them that time. For Siege and BF the game was worth the wait. I know this game will be to.
The fixes will be coming. It may not be as fast as everyone violently demands them to be, but I look forward to saying I told you so when they do.
