I am not blindly defending ubisoft, I am frustrated, and I have said it more than once, that I cannot reliably 4v4 most days where on Battlefield there are more people on bigger maps and I have no problem, and the training thing is something that has been raised more than once, at least with the matchmaking parameter they have coming, people should be matched with people of around the same experience. The question was though have the developers abandoned the game and I answered that.
In terms of people leaving, in the patch dropping over the next week, they have a ragequit penalty implented which will ban players from matchmaking for ten minutes. It won't be actuve yet, they are turning it on at a later date, but the tech is being put into place for that.
---edit---
I also do believe that the main devs are the original ones, they showed an interview last week that, I think it was Eric or Emile, had with one of the guys they used for help with the weapons from two years ago, I can't speak for the team as a whole.
I've got a really nice group of friends and we play together. We tried to play For Honor as a team, it failed because this game has connectivity problems. Whoever plays 4v4 modes, knows what I am talking about. So we tried to play this game but it won't let us, it will crash most of the matches wasting our time; kicking one or more of my friends making it impossible to play all together. I'm the only one still reading the forums and asking around about the game because I love it, it has so much potential. I'm still waiting for a miracle. Rainbow Six Siege started with similar connection issues and it was fixed turning into an awesome game.
I entirely disagree with CandleInTheDark. You got your priorities wrong. First we need solid online experience. Then they can care about balance bugs glitches and stuff. If we can't finish a match or can't play with our friends during the entire match, the rest is superfluous. This has been going on since February 14th. Even after all the patches and weekly streams and newsletters and blah blah, yeah blah blah because that's what it is pure bs, the problem is still there. After 4 months the game still can't handle leavers and will randomly kick people out. It is defective. If For Honor is getting better every week, why the playerbase is shrinking instead of growing?

Right, because I totally said in the post above yours that I believe the connection is great and they don't need to touch it, right?Originally Posted by Tillo. Go to original post
Again, I am not saying that things are perfect, I am saying things have improved,I used to be able to not 4v4 at all, now I can get games in, not perfect, but better with the hope of better to come, but I answered the question that was asked in have the devs abandoned the game and fixing bugs and balancing are important too.Originally Posted by CandleInTheDark
Nope, you said that the connection is not perfect but it is getting better, which it is not. You said that the devs care about the game and talk to the community and fix things but they haven't fixed THE ONLY thing that makes this game a piece of garbage. So don't be sarcastic on me. I didn't attack you nor anyone else here, chill.
There have been people on here who have said they don't get connection issues, I have gone from about 5% completion to about 50% completion. Again I am not saying it is perfect, and it is frustrating, but you are relating your own experience to everyone's. Does it need to get better? Yes, very much so, and I have never denied that. At the same time saying it has not improved at all is also not the truth.Originally Posted by Tillo. Go to original post
I believe "better" is somewhat relative term here.
Something fundamentally broken since day 1 has not been addressed in 4 months is not better from my perspective.
It may have gone better on some aspects but fundamental issues should be on that "getting better" list to start with.
I don't care if the balance between classes are getting better when I can't play a game without 3 people leaving then lobby crashing and 15 mins game vanished.
It doesn't count for me sorry. It is like being happy for having nice cloths when you don't have anything to eat to survive![]()
It is not my personal experience only. Browse the forums, search on google and youtube, read or watch game reviews.
How can you explain that the playerbase has dropped so much so fast in such a short period of time?
I want to play with my friends and the game won't let us. 1v1, 2v2 are ok, but 4v4 modes are unplayable.
Except it has been addressed, again, it is not perfect but saying they have done nothing with it is very easily countered by, say, looking at their patch notes.Originally Posted by Bingildeck Go to original post
I don't claim that it is perfect, others have said that they don't get chucked out of games and they need to achieve this for everyone, but again, people are saying they are doing nothing about it like they think it is all fine, they know this is not the case, hence these changes and putting in tools to monitor what is causing the disconnects.Originally Posted by Patch 1.06
Well it should be obvious that it would cost more to fix than it would to let them slide by. They are a business afterall so of course they are going to make their decisions based on what is likely going to net them the most profit. If they haven't changed or fixed something its because the cost will result in a loss, if it resulted in a gain then they would do it.Originally Posted by CoyoteXStarrk Go to original post
