I seriously believe this game is coded by the high school kids from the special needs school. I haven't encounter so many bugs in an end product ever. Even in win98 era. What the ****?!

Yeah it is a bug. but it's also rare. I have to see this happening to me only once.

Don't worry. If you are not a usual rage quitter you will not even notice this penalty system.
As for those crying losers who are outraged by the penalty system.... I don't know why I find it satisfying to hear them complain about it.
It's awesome that it is implemented, and it was required

Hey that happened to me BUT i could control my character! Was too far away to see him properly, except for the stance indicators. i even had fights lol and did really well for a bit was so odd, had to quit

Haha that happened to me too a couple of times but i didn't have the indicators people must have thought i was pretty bad at the game when they encountered me running past them up to a wall and back trying to get to them lol.. it was pretty funny at least.

Are you pretending to be this stupid or is it real? How do you look past the reasonable points people are laying out and the possible side effect of the penalty and you still come to the conclusion "lol cry babies!"

A couple of time, i spawned as a shield inside a wall.

COudn't move or do anything, I was a shield.

If you get this from the beginning of the game (like you say) you have 30 sec to quite after the start without penalty.
If it really is an emergency -> internet off and on again.

In my hurry i totally missed that, thanks for pointing that out.

So this is what it says:

''There is a 30second grace window (duration is adjustable) at match start to account for incomplete groups/matchmaking issues''

I'm confused here. People get half a minute to decide at the start of the match to LEAVE the game without getting penalized? What good does this do? It punishes the people who always stay in the game even further because the usual people who see 2+ Centurions or high gear levels on the opposite team will quit without a penalty and people who don't quit HAVE to stay in the game and fight incomplete teams, against BOTS or also quit but get a 10 minute penalty instead.

I see people already using this option to quickly leave games at the start of the match, it's not only the rage quitting that was a general problem, it was also the quitting while in the matchmaking screen or right when the match begins (higher rep, gear, afraid of certain characters). Problem is, they now have a free ticket out of the game and if you are not quick enough to also leave, the ''good guys'' get penalized.

Unless i'm totally misunderstanding the 30 secs grace period but i think it's just like you said in your post.

Already told you I'm not a rage quitter. Nothing brings me more joy than hate mail and rage quitters and I will not give that pleasure to anyone else. So go ahead and fall back to that same dumb argument "lol cry baby rage quitters" over and over again since your tiny brain can conceive the concept of consequences and looking at the bigger picture.
