True but it's still better than any other in the series in terms of reachable destinations.Originally Posted by AKAFootloose Go to original post
The implementation of a cleaning kit would have been a good mechanic, as pointed out by HorTyS in the past.
That's a good way to go about it, and I've definitely made that distinction with people before. I was talking about FC5 to a friend just recently and was telling him how well they seem to be nailing the setting. We're both from MT so I was telling him that while the world is much more condensed, for gameplay purposes, but that it is "believable" as MT...Originally Posted by AKAFootloose Go to original post
Also yeah, I'd still love if the brought back jamming but I doubt it'll ever happen, too many people hated it. So even if they found a much better way to implement it with more ways to counter-act it and prevent it, I just don't think it'd go over well with players at large. Which is a shame because FC gets dumped on for being too easy & what not, but if you put in something like jamming, which adds a believable wrinkle to combat and makes people vulnerable and forces them to adapt to that situation, that's adding some challenge, but people would still bemoan it... kind of lame...
FC4 had those wild animal attacks which in itself is a good thing, but what made it irritating is it happened all too often and I hated those never ending eagle attacks. Much like the gun jamming in FC2. If they toned it down a bit would be fine or gave us some control as to how often it occurred, such as a cleaning kit which I took the "repair kit" to be that but I couldn't tell any difference after buying one. The handheld map would be totally believable as a tablet with a GPS on it or something like that.
Yet also highly unrealistic or believable. An AK made of gold would weigh to much to hold up to aim or anything... hahaOriginally Posted by Viragoxv535 Go to original post
