balance and technical issues are a problem, leavers ar also a problem. Atleast this one is fixed.
I love it. It's perfect. If they rage quit, they forfeit the entire steel earning for the match, and they are ALSO locked out for 10 minutes. Then they leave again because OMG! OMG! OMG! Everybody is OP! Then they have 0 steel again and they are locked out for ANOTHER 10 minutesIt's awesome!
Yeah right. So let's say that i try to get in a match with a buddy of mine. Get to the lobby, character selection etc. And when the game begins my friend suddenly gets an error(thing that happened a lot). So give me one good reason why should i stay in this match?Originally Posted by CrunaCross Go to original post
I'm not saying that i like raiging quiting and stuff. But i think that we see the tree and seem to ignore the entire woods that is on fire behind that.
Let's see how awsome it's going to be when players are finally fed up with the game and boycott it.Originally Posted by CrunaCross Go to original post
EricPope keeps claiming ragequitters are causing issues such as the freeze after a Dominion - wich is garbage (I've experienced the freeze multiple times in sessions no one left). I'm pretty sure we'll soon realize that it doesn't make a difference, just like half the patches they release.
Hi Fred,
thank you for the well documented patch notes.
A point of concern: the leaver penalty will actually do you more harm than good, people who don't intend to play the game out will just happily run around in base while the players that are experiencing a well known and wide spread bug since patch 1.03 will get even more punishment.
I am talking of course about the biggest thread in the technical support sub-forums:
http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ish-1-03-patch
It would be nice to at least acknowledge this is a big issue right now and I think that this demands way more priority for the game to even work for a lot of the playerbase.
The thread is now at 33 pages and that is not counting countless other threads made about the same freeze/black screen issue.
The only "resolve" at the moment in the known issues sub forum is to "restart the game", which would just add insult to injury with the newly introduced penalty.
A word on this in todays Dev Stream would be nice, if possible.
