    Protagonist Backstory

In an attempt to get back to normality.

We all know Ubisoft can tell a great story, but what do you think it will be this time for our protagonist?

What would you like to see in terms of narrative and character progression?

I found the character building of Jason Brody really interesting. The way he transforms from mild mannered normal guy to stone cold killer by way of Vass tormenting him was great.

Do you think we might see a similar character transformation in this game?

Jason Brody was an excellent character You're right about his progress and transition. He was an ordinary guy who was faced with choices that nobody should ever have to face. It is moments like his brothers death that either forces us to stand down or to step up. Playing his journey, starting out being guided by Dennis and being uncertain about how to achieve his goals or even if he would be able to achieve them, was exactly what I felt anyone would feel. So realistic.

Then his skills and arsenal of weapons increased, he began to change, meeting new people, Citra, Willis, Sam all gave him more confidence. Buck and Vaas just helped increase his determination to not fail.

Rescuing his friends helped remove his doubts and by the time he was meeting Hoyt he had become lethal and focused.

I had wondered whether the new protagonist might be a returning member of the armed forces, but that might give him/ her an early advantage. I really like a revenge perspective so maybe the protagonist will have been someone who survives an attempt on their life....

Interesting. Well we know he works in law enforcement in some capacity, and is new to the area of Montana.

I wonder if he perhaps suffered some kind of tragedy and goes to Montana in search of a quite life? Only to then be caught up in the middle of this uprising.

I wonder, as he will have training, if some survival elements might be incorporated into the game? Nothing to heavy, but maybe a little more than what the previous games touched upon.

Perhaps his very first job as the new sheriff is to go and investigate complaints about the cult. And that triggers a bad reaction to his enquiries. Perhaps not a shoot out there and then but a bomb that he survives or an attempt on his life, maybe run off the road. It will be interesting to see how it all gets started...

I heard that we the player show up with 2 other deputies in an effort to arrest Joseph Seed because the last law enforcement who tried previously never returned. So the 3 deputies show up, Seed is arrested, but then his followers abduct the deputies & free him. We escape (and I think 1 of the other deputies, who takes the form of your coop partner) and the 3rd deputy is either killed or kept captive (maybe him as a hostage is what they use as leverage to prevent further government interference?) then the adventure kicks off.

I'll be curious to find out the past & motivations of the entire Seed family. Find out what made them become these cultist leaders and why he believes in the impending end of days. Also, wouldn't it be a crazy twist if at the end of the game the end times really do occur and FC6 is a post-apocalypse in the aftermath? hahaha
