A problem not only i am facing sometimes when i play with my best friend, also many other people.
If the game lags, or someone quits, sometimes people get disconnects.
But if i am in a match an my best friend gets kicked, it is really a pain in the butt because we want to play together and not waiting for the other one or leaving.
Also with the comming quit penalty, the option to leave the match and rejoin with your friend will be restricted due to the penalty.
So i do say, give us the possibility to invite our friends back into a group and the match!
Other multiplayers do have this feature as well, and it works fine.

I would be all in for that.
My major problem with the quit penalty lies in the fact that our group gets on a regular basis split or one or more of my mates get an error. Sadly in general not in the first 30 seconds, following the short reprieve will not help us much. Well against the splitting it will not help much, because people get into a seperate game. But if its true that that only happens because of rage quitting maybe it will be reduced to a acceptable point. But at least the errors wouldnt be that bad with such a system.
In my opinion the rejoin mechanic the next best option to totally fix the connection problems.
