If you don't beat the game using only the Baseball Bat, you've done it wrong.

Though if it's true you can throw pitchforks like a spear I'd probably just use that...

While many barns have pitch forks, sheds usually have the smaller version - forked tools, which I for one have seen been used to kill - https://www.groworganic.com/quality-...den-tools.html

I've seen movies, sorry I forget their names, which depicted a person being stabbed in the chest with a pitchfork, while in another there was by a by a garden fork. My folks called them something else, but I can't remember what it is. How about a scyth in the FC5 barn? That tool made of wood and steel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scythe We still see those our here at yardsales, and on walls of people's shops. In a pinch I am sure that would be a lethal weapon.

only in movies thats not the same but a scythe woulld be a fun melee to have in far cry as well especially if we can throw it like we can the bat and stick it into people there was a game called rage that had kind of a bladed frisby thing called the wingblade that was a lot of fun to use like that

You're probably thinking of a sickle as a scythe is far to big to throw and much too cumbersome to be a weapon in FC5 really...

    this is a sickle

I too thought about the hand-held sickle as a weapon. Knowing the amount of scyths I've seen in my area, at yard/garage sales, fairs and such, shoot my family even brought theirs out from Iowa/Ohio, etc., we had it in the garage when I lived with them and knew how to use one; still that's a lot of scyths for the area. I'm sure such areas have them in MT as well as the Pacific Northwet as well. A hand sickle would be a good weapon if it were laying around and one needed one.

Hopefully hatchets will be a melee weapon we can pick up & throw... Still holding out hope we get just a regular combat or hunting knife with which we can do silent takedowns.... bats are ok, but I won't buy that it wouldn't alert a nearby guard so I'd rather carry a small blade...
