How to punish Shinobi when I CGB his ranged GB? | Forums

When I play Kensei against Shinobi,
after I counter GB his ranged GB and pulled he down,
what move can I do to punish him?

because when he was pulled down and I top heavy him,
he was able to stand up and block my top heavy.
Or maybe side heavy can surely hit him?

I know if I play Cen it's simple, just jump and stab him haha...
But as Kensei or Warden or else,
what's the guaranteed move that can punish a pulled-down Shinobi?

There isn't one, it all depends on how far the SHinboi tries to grab you from. If he's far away the pull won't being him close enough unless you have a leaping character like Valkor Cent. Probably should be a patch to fix that.

I know the distance is a factor~
but the shinobi just stand in front of me, about 1.5~2 my sword's distance
then I still can't be fast enough to hit him when he is pulled down
damn....if that's true, that move is so safe

If shinobi are close, any attack not very slow could works. i get attacked with almost every attack. If kensei can't reach, maybe a forward dash attack, like dash gb. I don't play kensei a lot so i don't manage its range well. Any light for sure hits shinobi if not a max range.

Anyway, you can use that to get close and don't let shinobi to go, remember shinobi has 3 heavy worth health
