Its time to realize the truth - there is no punish. (unless the shinobi does something really stupid)

If you're fighting a bad Shinobi, he will punish himself

Pretty much what beef said. The outcome of the match is contingent on the shinobi making mistakes not so much you playing well.

You can trade a light attack but unfortunately he gets a guaranteed heavy and you die first

Even the shinobi bots are by far harder to fight against, than their vanilla counterparts.

Don't add a quite penalty until you add a Max of 2 of the same characters and fix the shinobi.
