    Let's talk about shugoki...

    shugoki is a very unique and rewarding character to have on your team when it comes to 4v4. But when it comes to 1v1 shugoki is outclassed by almost every other fighter. When it comes to assassins shugoki is near useless when you start getting light spammed. His guard change is just way to slow compared to other characters making it near impossible to block or parry any of the incoming attacks when being spammed. When it comes to the centurion (I get everyone is have trouble with his mindless offensive play style) he has a move that believe is bugging out when fighting shugoki. shugokis armor is being ignored by the jumping stab where he goes into and animation to pull his sword out , making it nearly impossible to use your armor to trade blows with him. When I comes to guardbreaking as shugoki it's almost impossible to get one on an experienced player due to the slowness and extremely short range of this move. 50% of the time I'm not close enough to actually use his guardbreak leaving me stuck in an awkwardly long animation of the missed allowing free punishment even to non experienced players. It's basically russain roulette when using his Guardbreak. When it comes to his back breaker (I forgot what it's called) I don't have many complaints other than I wish you would gain HP upon the actual back break instead of after you drop them , allowing you to tank out hits while in this long animation but this is just wishful thinking. Now on to the dreaded charge of the oni. Please for the love of ganja bring back the knockdown at least on opponents out of stamina. Right now shugoki has no way of punishing OOS opponents when they just dodge backwards and this would greatly benefit him

    you lose almost half your hp if you miss one of the easiest to dodge moves in the game. It's a high risk move with high benefits.

    It's guaranteed if you throw the opponent against a wall. Just think about that. You could be full health fighting against a shugoki whose almost dead yet you're essentially only one parry or missed counter guard break away from losing if you're anywhere near a wall. It's pretty incredible how so many other classes get nerfed for way less. It essentially doesn't matter how much you outplay a shugoki, all they have to do is get one parry near a wall, much of your progress is undone if you even survive.
