Addressing the One-hit Kill Exploit | Forums

Hey everyone in the community and ubisoft my name is samson cherry i'm a prestige 10 centurion i have to admit his concussion affect is to overpowered i don't abuse it because i like to show a bigger array of skill with my fighting but people are abusing it horribly one grab and you lost because you never get a chance to recover stamina ,fight back,block or dodge your just an exhausted black and white sitting duck i like the moves but they should be turn down a little on the concussion side because its not a fair fight once you go black and white you never go back and my exhaustion recovery is +76 and my stamina recovery is +22 and it does not help please look into it the lawbringer,warden and others have similar concussion moves but you can escape ,deflect,fight back and recover you have options not with centurion once you go black and white thats it a fun game will get boring fast if everyone finds exploits to spam to always win thanks samson

As a reminder to everyone, please do not post the usernames of players here on the forums. We understand that players are frustrated with others who are using the exploit, but naming other users on the forums is a breach of our Forum Rules and the last thing we want is a witchhunt.

If you are going to report another player for using the exploit, please do so using the link provided in the OP. Posting that information here publicly will not ensure that the player is dealt with.

As much as I understand not wanting a witch hunt, posting their names is a way for us to warn others who frequent the forums. If you're going up against and, they pick Warden (easiest to pull the glitch off with) at least they know to expect they may/will try it. These people are willfully cheating using an exploitable game bug, they don't deserve any protection of identity. As a side note, only a 3 day ban... that's way to lenient. They'll easily just wait or look for a new exploit to cheat again with such a light punishment. I would call for a hero reputation wipe and 30 day ban personally, but at LEAST a 30 day ban. 3 days wouldn't even be considered a slap on the wrist. Not for nothing Ubisoft, but your "aggressive anti-cheating policy" is pointless if you just give them a "Hey, don't do it again."

Perhaps it was a typo. Perhaps they meant to say 30 day ban after all and will say so to the ones who've been caught. Oh so I would like to think.

Thanks for coming in on the weekend to work on fixing this bug, Ubisoft. Hope it can be resolved well.

You would dare suspend accounts for doing this exploit for mistakes that YOU make. This is completely unacceptable.

I cant wait till i get banned for this bug. Its going to be the best of my life. It will show that ubisoft really doesnt care because it is taking them this long to fix this bug. I'm glad the money i bought the game for just to ban me on something i did. Its not like I added hacks to make me better. I just did something that you guys added or left into the game and let get pass testing. So i cant wait to get banned and it will be the best day of my life . Will finally show that you don't listen to the community because most teams would of fixed it by now and banning people for not taking down warden. Also something you should do when you find out about it but know lets just let everyone keep doing it, makes perfect sense to me. Most game like LoL would disable the character till they figure out so people cant do it. So they dont have to ban people for doing it but you're letting the community just sit here and do it, and banning people is going to be on you not them because you dint take action quick and properly

It is an exploit, but using it voluntarily with the knowlage it gives you an unfair advatage is under the blanket term of "Cheating". How would you like it if we were, say, playing poker. Every time I delt a hand, I delt from the bottom of the deck giving myself a Royal Flush? You'd scream I was cheating. Then I'd calmly tell you "I'm not cheating, i'm just exploiting the fact I'm the one dealing the cards by dealing from the bottom of the deck. YOU let me deal the cards, it's YOUR fault fault for giving me the deck of cards to deal myself a sure win." That's OK though right? Cause i'm just "exploiting i'm the card dealer." Taking Warden off the playlist is a bad idea because how many people main Warden? It wouldn't be fair at all to legit Warden players. Ubisoft would basically be banning people from their Hero of choice simply because of glitch abusing @rse's like you. I've gotten my @rse handed to me by plenty of good Wardens. You dont need an exploit to win, you need to play your Hero well. If you use this glitch you're basically saying "Hi, I can't stand to loose at all and i'm so bad at this game I need to use an instant-kill glitch just to win." Banning people who use the glitch is on the PLAYER PREFORMING THE GLITCH to gain and unfair advantage. Sure, it's there but nobody is FORCING you to use it. You dont HAVE TO USE IT in order to win, unless you're so terrible at the game you CAN'T win without it. You know it shouldn't be there, you know you shouldn't use it cause its a glitch... but just can't resist the temptation because damn, just dont have the patience to actually learn how to play and "GIT GUD." As for not listening to the community, I'm pretty sure they listened. Considering it only took hours after the glitch was known to the player base for Ubisoft to start working on it. It does take time to re-write game code you know. If you think LoL handles it better, then go play LoL. I'm sure your salt over not being able to always win instantly will be most welcomed in the saltiest game ever created. :P

first of all every1 knows that you guys doing nothing about that game as with the previous titles assassins creed for honor etc you are doing everything just for the money you are loosing ppl in very fast rate we pay you for games that we can enjoy for at least 30 mins without problems even less.
releasing games with problems everytime and when you have forums full of people that abandoning the game you just stay back and say ah its ok we took their money at least let them leave...you just becoming like EA games worst companies in the bottom of the pit..take notes from blizzard next time you make a game... i know its nothing but i have promised to my self that for honor is the LAST game i am buying from you guys..i know guys that its not your fault ( ppl that are working in customer support ) its all about the big bosses there all high and mighty...wardens orochi all of them killing us with 1 hit--ubisoft let them kill them you have report in game and we cannot even REPORT the reason and if we report at forums you still do nothing...pathetic company....take notes from the REAL big companies of gaming or go back and make donult adventures
