Big amount of proposed buffs for orochi from community are really cool, but in most of them, there's a feedback to make riptide strike feintable.
While this particular move definitely needs changes, if we will make it feintable, we will rip out whole magic which this move has. We don't need another better version of storm rush where you bite someone for a whiff and then proceed with a hit. I love actual concept of Riptide strike. It's a fast counter attack, which needs very good reaction time or very good prediction to land it. And while the current design definitely has a flaws, I think we should keep the same idea for this move while thinking about buffing it. IMO we should definitely make it much more faster(but keep the same recovery time on whiff), increase dmg to 40 and as someone proposed in earlier thread, maybe add an option to charge the attack and turn it into unblockable with extra dmg. With these changes, we would make it high risk/high reward but what more important we would keep the great concept of perfectly executed counter attack.
