Well, the new stats system allows for greater variety in builds, and I think not everyone will run with def penetration, especially when you have to sacrifice your Attack or Chip damage. On my kensei i really like to have the chip damage set to high, and I can never give up the Attack stat ^^.
But some table which would explain how the stats affect each other would be really helpful.
i use Chip on my Conq + his punch through feat, and i use it on the Zerker, because i still like to play him as berserker and go crazy with the dance of blades. so you can rack up a fair bit of chip damage.
and Def stat is still useful, because well Def Pen will not take you into negative Def. if you use gear the bumps the other two sats and lowers your Def, then you will indeed have lower def. so really you want to have some def, to keep it positive or at least at 0.
Yes. Because 10% of 10% is 1%. Def. penetration works against your defense bonus, not your defense as a whole. If your defense bonus were 20%, a 10% def pen would put it at 18%, etc. They don't just compare and subtract.Originally Posted by cpt.karato Go to original post
Yeah that's how I read it, the newsletter on 18th May listed the statsOriginally Posted by cpt.karato Go to original post
Defense Penetration
Defense Penetration allows your Hero's Attacks to ignore an amount of the enemy Hero’s Defense when attacking them.
Your Hero ignores as much of the opponent’s Defense as the value of the Defense Penetration is.
