this is my love song, and it goes like this

    thanks ubi!

no, don't worry, that won't be followed by some snide comment. while i no longer will be playing for honor, i'm still very happy w/ my investment

i paid $100 US about iono what 2 months ago? whenever release was. that's a great investment to anyone who has been making investments for 20 years

while i am happy that i was able to enjoy this game for as many hours as i was, i'm a little disappointed w/ what i can't help but interpret as an abuse of micromanaging

while i encourage decisions that are motivated by statistical information, i do believe there are certain lines that should not be crossed. i have no real desire to elaborate on that but on the very off chance someone from ubisoft comes across this post i hope you at least reflect on my very humble opinion

best of luck to the rest of you, in well, w/e ventures ya'll pursue

We're glad you've enjoyed For Honor. Could you expand upon what issue you are having though? We appreciate any feedback you can give so we can improve for the future.

I think that i'm about in the same situation as the original poster
I absolutly not regret the 80€ i invested in for honor : I could enjoy it during more than 350 hours, but the more i play it, the more it become a frustrating experience to me.

I do not blame ubisoft for this, but the fact is that each session of playing is less fun and more irritating because of some parts in the game that just doesn't make it for me.

The part of the game that keep pushing me to the final ragequit is as simple as cheap spam that more and more player use to win at any cost in the game.
I don't bother being hit by the same thing, but what is really frustrating is the focus and skill required to stop someone that know nothing about the game and simply "play" by using again and again a move that makes the job for him.

A good example of that is the wardlord headbutt : while i can sometimes manage to dodge it and GB, most of the time i simply take it even though i expect it. And i end up losing a fight where no mindgames, no strategy and no skill where involved : simply a brainless repetition of the exact same sequence during 3 horrible rounds.

The same goes for the orochi top light + zone attack, or the peacekeeper zone attack + lights

These moves aren't an issue in themselves because it's normal that heroes have powerful tools to use, but when it becomes the only thing a guy use during an entire duel, it quickly transform into a insanely frustrating thing to overcome as the difficulty increase even so verry little efforts where made by the spammer.

So that's it for me, for honor is a crazy good game and when i find a real duel i'm very happy to be able to learn new ways to play and new methods to surprise my opponent ! But more i progress, less i can have these. Everyone is all about winning at any cost, and it means at the cost of fun for everyone.

My solution until now have been to simply leave matches where i can find no interest, but with the leaver penalty coming soon (wich isn't a problem either : leaving should be penalized), i don't think my nerves will be able to tolerate more of this nonsense from other players.

I truly hope these problems will be fixed one day or another, and i'll gladly come back if something in the game allow me to meet less stupidity, and more interesting fights without being punished for this !

    Thanks Ubisoft

Thanks for that feedback, Kahnjul. Those are all valid concerns and we appreciate you taking the time to share it with us.
